Notes and sources
The journal's and the tooltip's 'Cost: 1,200' is Dragon Isles Supplies (wiki, wow.gg). Renown 17 is the wiki's: the rank is called Riding Through Fields of Green and opens this mount and the Lunar Dreamstag together, so the same vendor sells both at the same rank and price and the supplies are needed twice for the pair. Dream Wardens renown has been a Warband reputation since patch 11.0.0 (wiki), so the rank reached on one character serves the others. The reins bind when picked up (Wowhead's tooltip).
The time to Renown 17 is the weak figure: a character with the campaign and the side quests still to do gets most of the way quickly, one that has done them is left with the weekly quest, Superblooms and world quests. wow.gg reckons 4 to 6 weeks for the four mounts of the Dream Wardens' renown track.
wow.gg differs from the other sources in places, none of it confirmed in the game:
- world quests give 75-150 reputation and rares 25, where the wiki has 50 and 50
- 'about 21,000' reputation for rank 17
- the supplies are kept by each character separately, where the Lunar Dreamstag's notes have them movable between a Warband's characters
The coordinates are from Wowhead's tooltip for Moon Priestess Lasara (NPC 208156), as for the Lunar Dreamstag; wow.gg has 'approximately 50, 62', in the north-east of the encampment near the renown keeper and the stable master.
Confidence in this entry: medium. Looked up in 2026.
