Getting there
/way Terokkar Forest 45.1 65.6 - Take the portal from Wizard's Sanctum to Shattrath*
- Fly the rest of the way
- Take the portal from Pathfinder's Den to Shattrath*
- Fly the rest of the way
/way is for the TomTom addon. Travel times are estimates: flying at 55 yards a second in a straight
line and 30 seconds for a portal. A star marks a portal that needs a quest or other unlock done first.
Notes and sources
About 62 kills are expected at 1.61%. The Heroic lockout is per character and resets daily (wow.gg, updated 2026), so more characters mean more tries a day. The lowest level that may enter on Heroic was not established.
Anzu has been a permanent Heroic boss since patch 4.0.1 (wiki); before that a druid had to summon him, and one wow.gg page still says so. No key or reputation is asked for Heroic any more (wow.gg); the wiki's infobox still lists the Auchenai Key.
The entrance coordinates are worked out from the game's own dungeon-entrance table (world position -3362, 4650 on Outland). wow.gg gives a waypoint of 43.4, 65.6 on the ring itself; the way in is at the bottom of the ring. The 5 minutes on site are an estimate (wow.gg says 1-2 minutes a run at level 90).
Wowhead comments of 2025 report drops during a limited-time event that raised the chance; no current event of that kind was looked up.
Confidence in this entry: high. Looked up in 2026.
