Notes and sources
Horde characters only. The item needs level 10 (wiki). The same vendor sells the other wolves on the same terms.
The journal leaves out the reputation. The wiki has it on the vendor's page, with what he says to anyone who is neither an orc nor Exalted, and on the Orgrimmar faction page. It was not confirmed in the game, and whether a Mag'har orc counts as an orc for him is undocumented. The reputation takes no time on an orc or on a character that is already Exalted.
Coordinates are the first of Wowhead's tooltip positions for him (61.0-61.6, 33.8-35.6); the wiki gives 61, 35 on his page and 61.6, 35.6 on the faction's. The wiki puts Stone Guard Nargol at 50.0, 58.4 by the flight master.
A second item teaches the same mount: Blood Guard's Mount (16343), a leftover of the old honour ranks. Wowhead's tooltip also files it under Ogunaro Wolfrunner at 1 gold, and its race list mixes Alliance and Horde races. Whether he really shows it to anyone was not established; the Horn of the Brown Wolf is the one the wiki lists among his wares.
Confidence in this entry: high. Looked up in 2026.
