Sold by Deathguard Netharian, the Combatant Mount Quartermaster in the Valley of Strength, Orgrimmar, for 1 Vicious Saddle. A saddle is earned in rated PvP while a season is running: wins at 1,000 rating (Combatant) or more fill the Season Rewards bar; the first full bar of a season gives that season's own vicious mount, and every further full bar in the same season gives a Vicious Saddle.

Notes and sources
This is the Horde mount (item 213440). The journal and Wowhead's tooltip still give only the old source, Dragonflight Season 4, when the mount was earned by rated wins. That season is long over, but the mount moved to the saddle vendors: the wiki's page for Deathguard Netharian (edited 2026) has the Vicious Dreamtalon in his stock of 25 mounts, each at 1 Vicious Saddle, and puts him in the Valley of Strength at 42.0, 73.8.
That page is the only source checked for this mount. The rest follows this guide's notes for the Alliance Vicious Dreamtalon (item 213439, sold by Necrolord Sipe in Stormwind) and for the other Horde saddle mounts (the Vicious War Snail and the Vicious Moonbeast), which have the same vendor, price and way to a saddle. Wowhead's full page for the item was not read.
Saddles can only be earned while a rated PvP season is running: by those notes the wiki's page for Midnight Season 2 (edited 2026) gives its start as 18 August 2026 and no end date, and that season's own mount is the Vicious Lightbloom Boar. The saddle binds when picked up and the vendor is a Horde one, so the bar has to be filled on a Horde character.
Neither source of the win counts gives one for Solo Shuffle, and the points a win pays today were not found written by Blizzard; the bar on the Rated tab of the PvP window shows the progress. The guide linked is written for the Vicious War Raptor and does not name this mount, but the way to a saddle and the vendor are the same; the Horde Vicious War Snail's notes point out that the page contradicts itself in places. The item binds when picked up; the wiki has the Alliance item at level 45, which was not checked for this one.
Confidence in this entry: medium. Looked up in 2026.
