Reward of the quest Elder Glowmite from Mothkeeper Wew'tam at The Den in Harandar, which she offers once the Warband has collected all 120 of Harandar's Glowing Moths. The moths come in three sets of 40: the first is there from the start, the second appears at Hara'ti Renown 4 and the third at Renown 9, so the mount means Renown 9.

Before you go
- Hara'ti Renown 9 (Big Moth Hunter II), which makes the third set of 40 moths appear; the second set comes at Renown 4. A rank is 2,500 reputation, 20,000 for the eight ranks above the first, and counts for the whole Warband; Harandar's story and side quests, world quests, treasures, first kills of its rares (50-75 each), the weekly Legends of the Haranir event and the weekly dungeon quest all give it · about 7 h over 10 days
- All 120 Glowing Moths, scattered over Harandar in three sets of 40 that open at Renown 1, 4 and 9, so at least three rounds of the zone unless the renown is earned first. A moth collected on one character counts for the whole Warband · about 2 h
In all: about 9 h of play, spread over 10 days, starting from nothing.

Notes and sources
The journal and Wowhead's tooltip give the source as the quest Elder Glowmite. Wowhead's item page (2026) lists two ways:
- reward of quest 96510, Elder Glowmite (minimum level 80; its text: "Thank you for gathering these beautiful moths. Please accept this as thanks.")
- sold by Mothkeeper Wew'tam (NPC 251259, Luminous Dust Vendor) for 10 Luminous Dust
Which of the two holds today was not confirmed in the game. A 2026 Wowhead comment, found for the Vivid Chloroceros, says that since patch 12.1 she no longer sells for dust, which is now a grey item, and hands out the rewards by moth count. The wiki's item page (2026), Method (2026) and wow.gg (2026) still describe the purchase for 10 Luminous Dust once all 120 moths are found, and the wiki's page for Wew'tam (2026) lists quests named Elder Glowmite and Vivid Chloroceros beside the table of purchases.
It comes to the same either way: 120 moths, each of which gave one dust, and twelve rewards at 10 dust apiece (one for every 10 moths, the Vivid Chloroceros at 50 and this mount last). Whether the eleven earlier rewards have to be claimed first was not established. All 120 moths also give the achievement Dust 'Em Off (wiki). Collection has been shared across the Warband since a hotfix of 10 March 2026 (wiki).
The sets: Method, wow.gg and the wiki's renown table agree on Big Moth Hunter I at Renown 4 and Big Moth Hunter II at Renown 9. The most-rated Wowhead comment (2026) says Renown 5 and 6 in its text and is corrected by a 2026 reply (4 and 9). The first set is collectable at Renown 1 by Method and wow.gg; the wiki and Blizzard Watch say 2 (as noted for the Vivid Chloroceros).
Moths show on the minimap from Renown 2, 6 and 11 for the three sets (Method, wow.gg; the wiki's Moth Watching I to III), so the third set is found with a guide or an addon: Wowhead comments name MothWaypoints (/mothwps, shows only the uncollected ones; 2026), wow.gg HandyNotes: Midnight. A 2026 comment had the map mark the last moth in the wrong place.
The most-rated comment advises reaching Renown 9 first and collecting afterwards, and lists as the quickest renown:
- the zone story
- the zone's achievements for side quests, lore items and rares
- world quests
wow.gg says Harandar has no flight points and is reached by the portal in Silvermoon. Wew'tam's coordinates are the wiki's; Method and wow.gg give 49.30, 54.36.
The item asks for level 10 and binds when picked up; a flying mount, added in patch 12.0.1 (wiki). No guide of Wowhead's own for the moths was found; its item page links only the general Midnight Mount Guide.
Confidence in this entry: medium. Looked up in 2026.
