Notes and sources
Bought for Resonance Crystals at Renown 23 with the Assembly of the Deeps (the wiki's page for the mount, 2026; wow.gg's guide, 2026). The journal shows the cost only as a number and leaves out the renown.
The vendor's place: Wowhead's tooltip for Waxmonger Squick (NPC 221390) has two points a short ride apart, 43.2, 32.8 and 47.2, 32.8. A 2024 Wowhead comment and wow.gg's Crimson Mudnose guide give the second, used here.
wow.gg says the unlock is account-wide, so one character reaching rank 23 is enough; the item itself binds when picked up.
Much here follows the Crimson Mudnose, the same vendor's mount at Renown 19 for 8,125: the vendor's place, the unlock and the way the reputation is earned. The reputation total is 55,000 if the first rank is free and 57,500 on wow.gg's count (23 ranks at 2,500); which is right was not settled. Per-activity reputation amounts were not found, so the hours to Renown 23 are the weak figure. An inscription contract adds 15 reputation per Khaz Algar world quest for a week (Warcraft Tavern, as noted for the Crimson Mudnose). Whether renown gains were raised after Midnight launched was not checked.
Wowhead's renown guide (published 2024, last changed 2024) has the rank 23 reward as 'Ooooh, Shiny!', the Cyan Glowmite at 11,375 Resonance Crystals from Waxmonger Squick, and puts him at 47.3, 32.9. Its reward table names Auditor Balwurz for rank 23, which looks like a slip, since its own price list, the journal, Wowhead's tooltip and the wiki all have Squick. It lists the ways to reputation without amounts and dates from the first weeks of The War Within.
A flying mount; the item asks for level 30 and was added in patch 11.0.2 (wiki).
Confidence in this entry: medium. Looked up in 2026.
