Heritage Undercrawler

Sold by Yamas the Provider at the Weaver's Lair in Azj-Kahet for 2,020 Kej, once the account stands at Conspirator with the General, one of the three patrons of the Severed Threads. Standing with the General is earned in the weeks when the pact is made with him.

Guides Wowhead: The Severed Threads Renown Guide for the War Within · Warcraft Tavern: The General Reputation Guide

• Pacts opened on a level 80 character: the Azj-Kahet story, in which the three patrons are met, and Renown 3 with the Severed Threads · about 4 h
• Conspirator with the General, the seventh of his eight named ranks at 2,500 reputation a rank: each week make the pact with the General at the Weaver's Lair, do his weekly quest Blade of the General (1,500 reputation) and Azj-Kahet's world quests · about 7 h over 7 weeks
• 2,020 Kej: the General's weekly quest pays 250 to 500, and rumours, rares and treasures in Azj-Kahet pay more (about 45 to 50 each) · about 1 h

In all: about 12 h of play, spread over 7 weeks, starting from nothing.

/way is for the TomTom addon. Travel times are estimates: flying at 55 yards a second in a straight line and 30 seconds for a portal. A star marks a portal that needs a quest or other unlock done first.

Bought for 2,020 Kej at Conspirator with the General. The journal's 2,020 is Kej, and it leaves out the rank. Wowhead's guide (2024), Warcraft Tavern and wow.gg all put the mount at Conspirator.

Sellers: the journal and Wowhead list Yamas the Provider, Anub'okki and Aspirant Kiipka, all a few steps apart. By Wowhead's tooltips Yamas stands at 55.2-55.4, 41.4-41.6 and the other two at 55.8, 42.2 (Warcraft Tavern: Anub'okki, the General's man, on the lower level of the Weaver's Lair at 55.9, 42.1). Kiipka appears to take Anub'okki's place later in the General's story, which was not looked into. Wowhead's guide says the pact mounts are bought from the Severed Threads quartermaster; a 2024 comment on it corrects that to Yamas the Provider beside her.

The pact is made with Lady Vinazian at the Weaver's Lair (Y'tekhi before the end of the campaign); a 2024 comment says the quest Pacts and Patrons from Widow Arak'nai has to be done first. A pact is made once a week with one patron and holds for the whole Warband until the weekly reset (Wowhead's guide), so standing with the General grows only in his weeks, and the two sister mounts (the Royal Court Undercrawler from the Vizier, the Widow's Undercrawler from the Weaver) cannot be worked on in the same weeks.

The General's named ranks, in order: Acquaintance, Crony, Accomplice, Collaborator, Accessory, Abettor, Conspirator, Mastermind (Wowhead and Warcraft Tavern agree; wow.gg's guide gives the same count but other names for several). Wowhead's guide speaks of nine ranks for each patron while listing eight, so whether Conspirator takes six or seven rank-ups (15,000 or 17,500 reputation) was not settled; wow.gg's seven weeks fits either. Besides the weekly quest, the General's own quest lines open at Accomplice and Abettor.

Not found: how much reputation an Azj-Kahet world quest gives the pacted patron, and whether anything about pacts changed with Midnight. Nothing read is newer than wow.gg's guide (2026), which describes them as running.

The mount needs level 10 (wiki).

Confidence in this entry: medium. Looked up in 2026.
