Sold by Lady Vinazian, the Severed Threads quartermaster at the Weaver's Lair in Azj-Kahet, for 3,940 Kej once the account has Renown 23 with The Severed Threads. Earlier in the campaign the quartermaster standing there is Y'tekhi, who sells it on the same terms.

Notes and sources
Bought for 3,940 Kej at Renown 23 with the Severed Threads. The journal gives only the two sellers and the number 3,940; the currency is Kej, and it leaves out the renown.
Both quartermasters, Lady Vinazian and Y'tekhi, stand at 55.2, 41.2 by Wowhead's tooltips (the wiki and wow.gg agree). A 2024 Wowhead comment and Warcraft Tavern give 57.6, 46.8 instead, which does not match the tooltips and may date from the first week. Lady Vinazian took over as quartermaster when Y'tekhi was compromised by Xal'atath and restrained (the wiki's pages for both); the Ferocious Jawcrawler's notes put the change at the end of the level-80 campaign. Wowhead's sold-by list still has both.
Renown 23 is what nearly every source says:
- Wowhead's guide, three times over: its renown list ('23 Rolling in the Depths II: You may acquire the Aquamarine Swarmite Skyriding Mount from Lady Vinazian'), its vendor table ('Requires Renown 23 to purchase') and its running text ('a skyriding mount unlocks at Renown 23')
- the wiki's pages for the mount, for Lady Vinazian (2026) and for the faction (2026)
- a 2024 Wowhead comment, Warcraft Tavern and wow.gg
The one thing against it: the item's tooltip on Wowhead's page carries two lines, 'Requires Renown Rank 23 with The Severed Threads' and 'Requires Renown Rank 22 with The Severed Threads'. The Ferocious Jawcrawler's tooltip has the same doubling (22 and 17), so the second line may be a lower requirement the game now applies; if it is, the reputation takes about half a week less.
Renown with the Severed Threads unlocks for the whole Warband (Warcraft Tavern), and the weekly pact is Warband-bound: one leader a week for all characters (Wowhead's guide). How long the renown takes is the weak figure: the sources that give amounts date from 2024 (Wowhead's guide was last edited in 2024), no source read gives a time for Renown 23, and whether anything was sped up since or changed with Midnight was not found. Warcraft Tavern also names the scribes' Contract: The Severed Threads (15 more reputation on each Khaz Algar world quest).
A flying mount; the item binds when picked up (wiki, Wowhead). The wiki says it asks for level 30, Wowhead's data level 10. Added in patch 11.0.2 (wiki). The three pact mounts sold by Yamas the Provider beside her are separate mounts and need a rank with one leader, not renown.
Confidence in this entry: medium. Looked up in 2026.
