Guides Wowhead: Glory of the Nerub-ar Raider Achievement Guide · Wowhead: Cowabunga, achievement page (the comments of January 2025 and January 2026 give the method that works now) · wow.gg: Shadowed Swarmite
Before you go
- A raid of at least 10 players, all present for the fights: players report that You Can't See Me, Cowabunga and Would You Still /love Me if I Was a Worm... give no credit to a smaller raid. Several of the eight also take more than one player by their own mechanics: Kill Streak begins with a player clicking a brazier and being killed by the boss, so someone else has to finish the fight; in Cowabunga two players are marked with Rolling Acid and the rest have to be hit by one of the two waves; in Would You Still /love Me the player carrying the egg has to be hit by two Experimental Dosages at once
Getting there
/way Azj-Kahet 43.5 90.4 - Take the portal from Stormwind to Dornogal*
- Take the burrow to Azj-Kahet*
- Fly the rest of the way
- Take the portal from Orgrimmar to Dornogal
- Take the burrow to Azj-Kahet*
- Fly the rest of the way
/way is for the TomTom addon. Travel times are estimates: flying at 55 yards a second in a straight
line and 30 seconds for a portal. A star marks a portal that needs a quest or other unlock done first.
Notes and sources
The eight achievements, with the game's wording as Wowhead's guide (2024) gives it, all 'on Normal difficulty or higher', so Raid Finder does not count:
- Slimy Yet Satisfying (Ulgrax the Devourer): keep the Spider Silk Grub alive; it cannot be healed and any mechanic kills it, so the boss is pulled away and someone herds the grub
- You Can't See Me (The Bloodbound Horror): every player gets Slimed! by stepping on a Shifted Oozeling at the edge of the room, which can only be seen in the shadow realm after Gruesome Disgorge; then all stack to call a Volatile Ooze and kill it
- Sik Parry Bro (Sikran): every player gets Riposte; four weapons are taken from the racks outside the arena and used on the boss with the extra action button, which drops them on the floor for the next four
- Cowabunga (Rasha'nan): on every cast of Rolling Acid every player is hit by a single wave
- Would You Still /love Me if I Was a Worm... (Broodtwister Ovi'nax): a Mysterious Glowing Egg from the trash before the boss is carried in and broken by two Experimental Dosages at once, then everyone targets the Disheartened Worm and does /love
- Kill Streak (Nexus-Princess Ky'veza): a player clicks the brazier on the left of the room and is killed, which starts her Kill Streak; it runs out unless more players die, one to each set of Nether Rifts, and she has to die with it still up
- Love is in the Lair (The Silken Court): the Anub'arash Plushy and Takazj's Favorite Candy, found in the Narthex before the room, are thrown at Anub'arash and Takazj before the pull; the two then heal 1% a second when near each other
- Missed 'Em by That Much (Queen Ansurek): in phase 3 every living player passes under her through the Abyssal Conduit portals during Frothing Gluttony, not by an immunity or a blink; dead players count
The time on the spot is an estimate for one clear doing all eight; progress is kept between visits, each achievement being its own (wow.gg). The achievement is account-wide (wiki) and was added in patch 11.0.2.
The player count is the soft part and the reason for medium confidence: it rests on player reports, not on the game's text.
For Cowabunga the comments disagree with the guide and with each other over time. The method that a 2025 comment found to work after a change was confirmed in a 2026 reply as still right after the Midnight patch: A 2026 comment warns that a raid of 13 that killed the boss before the first Rolling Acid got nothing.
- the two marked players stand still and are not hit
- everyone else is hit by one wave only
- stacks of Corrosion do not matter
- the game's own tracker turning from red to white is the reliable sign
The entrance is from the game's own instance-entrance table; wow.gg gives 34.9, 72.1 on the City of Threads map. wow.gg's guide (2026) goes through all eight but under wrong names (Slippery, but Useful; I'm Invisible; Killing Spree; Love Nest; A Hair's Breadth), so match them by boss.
Confidence in this entry: medium. Looked up in 2026.
