Sold by Lady Vinazian, the Severed Threads quartermaster at the Weaver's Lair in Azj-Kahet, for 2,815 Kej once the account has Renown 22 with the Severed Threads. Until the end of the level-80 campaign the quartermaster standing there is Y'tekhi, who sells it on the same terms.

Before you go
- Renown 22 with The Severed Threads, at 2,500 reputation a renown: the Azj-Kahet story brings the first few and opens pacts at Renown 3; after that each week's pact with one of the three patrons (the Weaver, the General, the Vizier), its weekly quest (1,500), and Azj-Kahet's world quests, rares, rumours and side quests. Every rank gained with a patron is one renown · about 12 h over 10 weeks
- 2,815 Kej: the weekly pact quest pays 250 to 500, and rumours, rares and treasures in Azj-Kahet about 45 to 50 each · about 1 h
In all: about 13 h of play, spread over 10 weeks, starting from nothing.

/way is for the TomTom addon. Travel times are estimates: flying at 55 yards a second in a straight
line and 30 seconds for a portal. A star marks a portal that needs a quest or other unlock done first.
Notes and sources
Bought for 2,815 Kej from the Severed Threads quartermasters; which renown it needs is the open question. The journal gives only the two sellers and the number 2,815; the currency is Kej, and it leaves out the renown.
Both quartermasters, Lady Vinazian and Y'tekhi, stand at 55.2, 41.2 by Wowhead's tooltips (the wiki agrees; Wowhead's guide gives 55.3, 41.2). A 2024 Wowhead comment and Warcraft Tavern give 57.6, 46.8 instead, which does not match the tooltips and may date from the first week. Lady Vinazian takes over once the campaign's quest News From Below has Y'tekhi removed (wiki; Wowhead's guide: after the level-80 campaign).
For Renown 22:
- Wowhead's guide, in its renown list ('22 Rolling in the Depths I: Speak with Lady Vinazian at the Weaver's Lair to obtain the Ferocious Jawcrawler') and in its vendor table
- a 2024 Wowhead comment
- the wiki's page for Lady Vinazian
- Warcraft Tavern and wow.gg
Against that:
- the item's tooltip on Wowhead carries two lines, 'Requires Renown Rank 22 with The Severed Threads' and 'Requires Renown Rank 17 with The Severed Threads'
- the wiki's page for the mount says 23, and its renown table for the faction puts Rolling in the Depths I at 17
- the same Wowhead guide says in its running text that the ground mount unlocks at Renown 18
The guide follows the majority, 22; if the game now asks for 17, the reputation takes about five weeks less.
Renown with the Severed Threads is shared by the Warband (Warcraft Tavern), and so is the weekly pact (Wowhead's guide). How long the renown takes is the weak figure: the sources that give amounts are from 2024, wow.gg's 4 to 6 weeks does not fit them, and whether anything was sped up since or changed with Midnight was not found.
The mount binds when picked up and needs level 10 (wiki, Wowhead tooltip). The three pact mounts (the undercrawlers sold by Yamas the Provider beside her) are separate mounts and need a rank with one patron, not renown.
Confidence in this entry: medium. Looked up in 2026.
