Guide Wowhead: Hallowfall Arathi Renown Guide for the War Within
Before you go
- Renown 21 with the Hallowfall Arathi: 20 ranks above the first at 2,500 reputation each, 50,000 in all. It comes from the questlines in Hallowfall, world quests there, its rares, and the Spreading the Light event with its quests (open from Renown 3 at level 80) · about 16 h over 4 weeks
- 8,125 Resonance Crystals: the renown ranks pay 2,500 of them on the way (250 at ranks 4 and 8, 500 at 12 and 16, 1,000 at 19); the rest comes from Khaz Algar world quests, rares, delves and weekly caches · about 3 h
In all: about 19 h of play, spread over 4 weeks, starting from nothing.

- Fly the rest of the way
- Take the portal from Orgrimmar to Dornogal
- Exit to Ringing Deeps
- Fly the rest of the way
/way is for the TomTom addon. Travel times are estimates: flying at 55 yards a second in a straight
line and 30 seconds for a portal. A star marks a portal that needs a quest or other unlock done first.
Notes and sources
Bought for Resonance Crystals at Renown 21 with the Hallowfall Arathi; the journal shows the cost only as a number and leaves out the renown.
The vendor's place: Wowhead's tooltip has two points, 41.2, 53.0 and 42.4, 55.0, and the wiki lists both. The Wowhead comment gives /way 41.2 53.0, used here as for the Shackled Shadow, so the two mounts share a place.
One loose end on the rank: the tooltip on Wowhead's item page carries two lines, 'Requires Renown Rank 18 with the Hallowfall Arathi' and 'Requires Renown Rank 21 with the Hallowfall Arathi'. Wowhead's renown guide, three wiki pages and a 2024 Wowhead comment (rated +10) all say 21, which is used here. The Shackled Shadow, which this vendor sells at Renown 23 for 11,375, has the same kind of doubled line (21 and 23).
The time to Renown 21 is the weak figure, hence medium confidence: no source gives amounts per activity. The total is 50,000 reputation if the first rank is free and 52,500 if it is not; which is right was not settled. Whether renown gains for The War Within's factions were raised after Midnight launched was not checked.
An early fault, this mount vanishing from the vendor once the Shackled Shadow had been bought, was fixed on 2 October 2024 (wiki; Wowhead comments quoting Blizzard's hotfix notes). Wowhead's renown guide dates from 2024; it names Waxmonger Squick as handing out the 250 crystals of rank 4, which looks like a slip (as noted for the Shackled Shadow).
No wow.gg guide was found for this mount. Added in patch 11.0.2 (wiki).
Confidence in this entry: medium. Looked up in 2026.
