Chance find in the Sifted Pile of Scrap, a container that Angelo Rustbin, the S.C.R.A.P. Exchange vendor at Undermine Sanitation on Hovel Hill, sells for 333 Empty Kaja'Cola Cans (or 1 Vintage Kaja'Cola Can). The cans are shovelled out of the S.C.R.A.P. Heap, a two-minute digging event that Carlo Greasegrind starts at whichever of Undermine's seven heaps is marked on the map.

Chance 1.96% per try, so about 51 tries on average — Wowhead (read 2026-10-10): the mount in 881 of 44,898 opened Sifted Piles of Scrap. The count runs from patch 11.1 (February 2025) and is per opening player. wow.gg gives 'about 3%' as a community estimate

/way is for the TomTom addon. Travel times are estimates: flying at 55 yards a second in a straight line and 30 seconds for a portal. A star marks a portal that needs a quest or other unlock done first.

Notes and sources

The journal names only the container, the Sifted Pile, which Wowhead lists as the mount's only container. At 1.96% that is one mount in about 51 piles on average, some 17,000 cans; at wow.gg's 150 to 300 cans an event that is roughly 55 to 115 events (arithmetic from those figures; wow.gg itself reckons 40-55 events at its 3%). Players report anything from the first pile to the 181st (Wowhead comments, 2025 and 2026).

Nothing read limits how many piles can be bought in a day, and the mount can turn up again once it is known (several comments report two or three).

Vendor: the wiki has Angelo Rustbin at 25.6, 38.2, Wowhead's tooltip at 25.6, 37.4-38.6, Method at 25.75, 38.17; wow.gg places him in 'Slum's Hill', a name no other source uses. Wowhead's sold-by list prices the pile at 333 of currency 3218; the Vintage can as the other price is the wiki's. From Renown 14 a dig can also turn up a Vintage Kaja'Cola Can, and one buys a pile (wiki, Method, wow.gg). Empty cans can be passed between the characters of a Warband (2025 Wowhead comment).

How often a heap is up was not found: Method (2025) and wow.gg say only that the active heap shows as a trash icon on the map; wow.gg adds a 'Price Surge' at half past every hour during which a dig gives more cans.

The event's bar runs to 500; bags of trash, boombots and fires break off the digging until it is nearly full, and a 2025 Wowhead comment says that standing on the rusted barrel avoids the goop that knocks diggers back. The bag, crate or strongbox handed out at the end of an event is not where the mount is. A comment of early 2025, written on the test realm, says the can income was cut sharply when the events were reworked, so the earliest figures run high.

The Undermine unlock and the size of a renown rank are taken from this guide's other Undermine mounts. Wowhead has no guide of its own for the heaps (its page for the mount lists only its War Within mount overview), so Method's and wow.gg's are linked; neither says how often the events run.
