Chance item in the Venture Co. Trove, the cache the Venture Company gives each time its reputation bar fills again once Exalted. The quest Exalted with Venture Co. then appears and is handed in to Shredz the Scrapper, the Venture Quartermaster, at Venture Plaza in the south of Undermine. A trove holds either the mount or one or two Miscellaneous Mechanica.

The count runs from patch 11.1 (February 2025) and is per opening player. /way is for the TomTom addon. Travel times are estimates: flying at 55 yards a second in a straight
line and 30 seconds for a portal. A star marks a portal that needs a quest or other unlock done first.
Notes and sources
At about 28 in 100, three to four troves are needed on average, so about a month past Exalted at a trove a week.
Nothing limits troves but the reputation. The weekly choice of cartel binds the whole Warband until the reset (Wowhead's guide: 'you cannot grind different cartel reputations with different alts'), so a week spent with the Venture Company is a week not spent on Bilgewater, Blackwater or Steamwheedle, whose troves hold mounts of their own.
The trove comes from a quest (85810, level 80) whose Wowhead tooltip reads 'Speak with Shredz the Scrapper at Venture Plaza'; the trove's page lists that quest as its only source, and a 2025 comment on the trove says these quests are account-wide. The trove binds to the Warband and the mount item binds when picked up (wiki).

The faction is called Venture Company in Wowhead's tooltip for Shredz and on the wiki (Wowhead faction 2671), though the quest and the trove say Venture Co.; the reputation requirement above is for faction 2671.
Not established: the cartel's reputation steps, the size of the bar past Exalted and what a world quest pays the cartel itself. Wowhead's guide gives 50 a world quest and 1,000 a weekly quest for the shared Cartels of Undermine renown, and the Bilgewater Bombardier's notes say patch 11.1.5 doubled cartel reputation, which was not checked again.
Wowhead's guide was last changed in 2025; it names the trove and the mount but gives no chance. Confidence is medium for the time figures; the drop count and the place are firm.
