Chance item in the Bilgewater Trove, the cache the Bilgewater Cartel gives each time its reputation bar fills again once Exalted. The quest Exalted with the Bilgewater Cartel then appears and is handed in to Rocco Razzboom, the Bilgewater Quartermaster, at the Scrapshop in Bilgewater Flats in the north of Undermine. A trove holds either the mount or one or two Miscellaneous Mechanica.

Chance 24.55% per try, so about 4 tries on average — Wowhead (read 2026-10-10): the mount in 311 of 1,267 opened Bilgewater Troves. The count runs from patch 11.1 (February 2025) and is per opening player. Miscellaneous Mechanica was in 936 of the same 1,267 (this guide's Margin Manipulator record), which fits a Wowhead comment's table: the cartel's mount or 1-2 Mechanica

Guide Wowhead: Cartels of Undermine Renown Guide - Patch 11.1: Undermine(d)

• Undermine unlocked: the first chapter of the Undermine(d) campaign, which follows the Khaz Algar campaign · about 1.5 h
• Exalted with the Bilgewater Cartel: each week one cartel is chosen for the whole Warband with Kaydee Racketring at the Incontinental Hotel, and that week's three Undermine weekly quests (Many Jobs, Handle It!; Urge to Surge; Reduce, Reuse, Resell), the world quests, side gigs and rares pay their cartel reputation to it. The Undermine storylines pay some as well · about 8 h over 4 weeks
• The reputation bar filled once more past Exalted for each trove, from the same weekly quests and world quests while aligned with Bilgewater · about 1.5 h over 7 days

In all: about 11 h of play, spread over 4 weeks, starting from nothing.

/way is for the TomTom addon. Travel times are estimates: flying at 55 yards a second in a straight line and 30 seconds for a portal. A star marks a portal that needs a quest or other unlock done first.

At about one trove in four, four troves are needed on average, so about a month past Exalted at a trove a week. Players report the mount on the first, second and seventh trove (Wowhead comments, 2025).

Nothing limits troves but the reputation. The weekly choice of cartel binds the whole Warband until the reset (Wowhead's guide: 'you cannot grind different cartel reputations with different alts'), so a week spent on Bilgewater is a week not spent on Blackwater, Steamwheedle or the Venture Company, whose troves hold mounts of their own.

Wowhead's tooltip for the quest (85806) reads 'Speak with Rocco Razzboom at the Scrapshop'; a comment on the trove says these quests are account-wide. The trove binds to the Warband; the mount item binds when picked up (Wowhead tooltip). Coordinates: Wowhead's guide gives 39.0, 22.1 and 39.07, 22.11, a comment 39.15, 22.19.

The reputation is faction 2673, the Undermine cartel (the wiki's Wowhead link); the old Horde faction of the same name is 1133 and is not meant.

• what a world quest pays the cartel itself: Wowhead's guide gives 50 for the shared Cartels of Undermine renown and 1,000 a weekly quest, figures from before the doubling; the wiki says world quests, side gigs and rares pay 20 to 200

Wowhead's guide is of 2025 and names the trove and the mount but gives no chance.
