Death knights only. Sold by Dread Commander Thalanor in Acherus: The Ebon Hold, the necropolis in the air over the east of the Eastern Plaguelands, for 1,000 gold. Death Gate opens into Acherus: into this one until the character takes a Legion artifact weapon, and after that into the Acherus above the Broken Shore, where Quartermaster Ozorg sells the same mount for 1,000 gold.

/way is for the TomTom addon. Travel times are estimates: flying at 55 yards a second in a straight
line and 30 seconds for a portal. A star marks a portal that needs a quest or other unlock done first.
Notes and sources
There are two places, and which one Death Gate reaches depends on the character.
The place given above is the journal's: Thalanor in the old Acherus over the Eastern Plaguelands (Wowhead's tooltip: 84.0, 49.8). It hangs in the open sky and should be reachable on a flying mount, though that was not checked in the game. Thalanor's price falls with Knights of the Ebon Blade reputation.
A death knight that has taken a Legion artifact weapon lands in the Legion Acherus instead (wiki: Death Gate changes for good), and there Quartermaster Ozorg sells the mount. Wowhead places him at about 44.0, 38.6 on the Broken Shore map, which that Acherus hangs above. The wiki lists Ozorg at a flat 1,000.
It was not confirmed in the game that Thalanor in the old Acherus still sells to a death knight whose gate has moved. The wiki's item box says level 25 is required.
