Crafted by a Horde engineer with Northrend Engineering at 75 from Schematic: Mechano-Hog, which the Horde Expedition's quartermasters sell at Exalted: Gara Skullcrush in Warsong Hold and Sebastian Crane in Vengeance Landing. It takes 12 Titansteel Bars, 40 Handfuls of Cobalt Bolts, 2 Arctic Fur and three kinds of parts that Roxi Ramrocket at K3 in The Storm Peaks sells for 12,500 gold in all: 1 Salvaged Iron Golem Parts, 8 Goblin-Machined Pistons and 1 Elementium-Plated Exhaust Pipe.

Notes and sources
A crafted mount with three errands: the schematic (the place given above), the parts (Roxi Ramrocket) and the materials. Either quartermaster sells the schematic: Gara Skullcrush in the middle of Warsong Hold in Borean Tundra (41.4, 53.6 by Wowhead's tooltip, 41.4, 53.7 by the wiki), or Sebastian Crane on the top floor of the inn at Vengeance Landing in Howling Fjord (79.6, 30.8, wiki).
Only Horde characters can learn and ride the Hog, but learning it also gives the account's Alliance characters the Mekgineer's Chopper, and the other way round (wiki; Wowhead's professions guide; a 2013 comment from a player who made one to find out). So an account that already has the Chopper has this too. The Chopper is made the same way from the Alliance Vanguard's schematic; Wowhead's recipe data shows the same six reagents for both.
Anyone can use the finished item, engineer or not (comments of 2008 and 2011), and Wowhead's tooltip shows no binding line, so it can be handed or sold on; the route here is making it. The mount seats a passenger from the rider's party in a sidecar.
Parts: Roxi's Elementium-Plated Exhaust Pipe was in limited supply in 2008 (comment); the wiki's page for her lists no limit. That page says Big Keech in the old Vale of Eternal Blossoms sells the parts as well. A 2009 comment says they could be salvaged from Ulduar's machine bosses, which, as found for the Mekgineer's Chopper, is no longer true.
Materials: Titansteel is smelted, a miner's recipe; the bars and the other materials can be made on other characters and passed to the engineer. A 2018 comment breaks them down further:
- an alchemist can transmute Titanium Bars from Saronite
- the Eternals can be had for Frozen Orbs in Dalaran
- an Arctic Fur can be had there for 10 Heavy Borean Leather
- a Handful of Cobalt Bolts comes one to four to a craft
The wiki names an 'extremely rare' chance of the mount in the gift packages of Blingtron 4000 and 5000 for Horde characters, and players report it from Blingtron 5000 and 7000 packages in 2020; no figure is given and it is not the route here.
Whether Horde Expedition reputation is shared across the Warband was not established, and the hours to Exalted are the widest uncertainty. Wowhead's professions guide is a player's guide, last updated 2022.
