Reward of the achievement Mastering the Visions: complete every objective of the Revisited Horrific Vision of Stormwind in a single visit with all 8 Faceless Masks active, and the same in the Revisited Horrific Vision of Orgrimmar. The visions are entered through the portal at the bronze dragons' base camp south of the Coreway in Dornogal; one city is open each week and they alternate. A vision takes one to five players.

Before you go
- All eight Faceless Masks unlocked, each earned inside a vision with a mask active: Long Night (all five objectives in one visit), Burned Bridge and Daredevil (Valley of Wisdom and Valley of Honor in Orgrimmar), Pained and Dark Imagination (Old Town and Mage Quarter in Stormwind), Vengeance (looted in the Stormwind canals), Nemesis (a shard from Hogger in Stormwind and one from Gamon in Orgrimmar) and Multitudes (every objective and every enemy in one visit). Both cities are needed, so at least two weeks. A mask can be switched on when any one member of the party has earned it · about 5 h over 8 days
- A full clear with all 8 masks in Stormwind and one in Orgrimmar, in different weeks because the open city alternates · about 1.5 h over 8 days
In all: about 6.5 h of play, spread over 8 days, starting from nothing.
Getting there

/way is for the TomTom addon. Travel times are estimates: flying at 55 yards a second in a straight
line and 30 seconds for a portal. A star marks a portal that needs a quest or other unlock done first.
Notes and sources
Counted from nothing, the two requirements overlap, so about 15 days at the least:
- week one: the first city's masks
- week two: the other city's masks and its 8-mask clear
- week three: the first city's 8-mask clear
Each mask adds 25% to enemies' health and damage, 200% with all eight.
The upgrade tree at the Hourglass of Horrific Visions (13 Echoes of N'zoth for 10,820 Displaced Corrupted Mementos in all, bought from Augermu) is not asked for by this achievement, only by the 5-mask one, but it is what cuts the Sanity loss. The wiki's table of dates for the echoes is from 2025, and whether they are still released week by week was not checked.
Is it still there: Wowhead's guide (2025) calls the revisited visions a limited-time event. Blizzard's notice before the Midnight pre-expansion update (2025) says only two Feats of Strength (Mad World and Through the Looking Glass) stop being earnable and that the visions stay playable after Midnight's launch, and a 2026 Wowhead comment was still running them. Nothing later than that was found, and whether the visions now scale to level 90 was not established.
The achievement is Wowhead 41966, with account-wide progress; its two parts are Beyond the Most Horrific Vision of Stormwind (41964 on the wiki) and of Orgrimmar. The place given above is Augermu's spot at the base camp (wiki); the portal stands beside him.
