A chance find in the Wriggling Pinnacle Cache, the reward of the weekly world quest Ecological Succession at the Oasis, the eco-dome in the north-east of K'aresh. The quest is a bar filled by the Oasis's chores: the experts' repeatable quests, watering plants, levelling earth, collecting data from drones, or handing in anima from a Devourer attack. By the wiki and Wowhead's best-rated comment, the first cache of the week holds one collectible for the warband: this mount or one of twelve pets.
Chance 3.17% once a week, so about 32 tries on average — Wowhead: 788 mounts in 24,886 recorded Wriggling Pinnacle Caches (3.17%, read 2026-10-10). That count takes in every cache opened, also the later ones of a week that hold no collectible, so the chance of a week's first cache is higher: if the mount and the twelve pets are equally likely it would be 1 in 13, 7.7%, which no source states. Notes and sources
One collectible a week for the whole warband (wiki), so more characters do not mean more tries. The quest asks for level 80.
The bar: each of the four Making a Deposit quests and each of the experts' weekly quests is worth 20% (wiki). The 30 minutes for a week's bar is an estimate.
About 13 weeks are expected if the 1-in-13 reading holds, about 32 at Wowhead's pooled 3.17%. There is no protection against duplicates: 2025 Wowhead comments report the same pet twice in four weeks and the mount dropping again for players who had it, and one says it can take more than 13 weeks; a 2025 comment had opened the cache every week without it. One 2025 comment suspects duplicates only began after a week's first cache was opened on another character; not confirmed.
Still in the game in Midnight: the wiki records a change to the cache's description in patch 12.0.7 (June 2026).
The coordinates are Om'talad's at the Oasis, from the wiki's page for a quest that ends with him there; the wiki puts the dome itself at 75, 34, and Ve'nari's own spot is not given. The same place gives another mount, the Resplendent K'arroc, for the achievement Ecological Stability.
