How to get it

Rare drop from Dimensius, the All-Devouring, the last boss of the Manaforge Omega raid on K'aresh, on Mythic difficulty only. While the raid was current a Mythic kill always gave some; since Midnight launched on 2 March 2026 it is a rare drop.

Chance 1% once a week, so about 100 tries on average — Not published and not measured: about 1% is what guides say it has been since Midnight's launch (conquestcapped, updated June 2026: 'an estimated ~1% drop chance' per weekly Mythic kill; an Icy Veins headline, seen as a search excerpt: '3 WoW Mounts Drop to 1% When Midnight Launches'). Wowhead (item page read 2026-10-11) records 15 mounts in 87 Mythic loots of Dimensius, 17.2%, but that is the season, when every kill gave a fixed number to a raid of 20 (a reply of September 2025: '3 for the party'; 3 in 20 is 15%), so it is not taken as today's chance. No Wowhead comment since the launch reports a kill with or without the mount

Inside Manaforge Omega, a raid (Mythic)

Time there about 1 h 30 min a visit

Before you go

  • K'aresh opened and the Reshii Wraps earned: the Ghosts of K'aresh campaign, whose second quest opens the rift from Foundation Hall in Dornogal to Tazavesh and whose third chapter (the quest The Tabiqa) gives the wraps that the raid asks for at its door · about 3 h

In all: about 3 h of play, starting from nothing.

Getting there

/way K'aresh 42.2 21.7
From Stormwind (Alliance) about 2.9 min of travel

  2. Take the Spatial Rift to K'aresh*
  3. Fly the rest of the way
From Orgrimmar (Horde) about 2.9 min of travel
  1. Take the portal from Orgrimmar to Dornogal
  2. Take the Spatial Rift to K'aresh*
  3. Fly the rest of the way

/way is for the TomTom addon. Travel times are estimates: flying at 55 yards a second in a straight line and 30 seconds for a portal. A star marks a portal that needs a quest or other unlock done first.

Notes and sources

Dimensius is the last of eight bosses (wiki):

  • Plexus Sentinel
  • Loom'ithar
  • Soulbinder Naazindhri
  • Forgeweaver Araz
  • The Soul Hunters
  • Fractillus
  • Nexus-King Salhadaar
  • Dimensius

One Mythic lockout a character a week; the raid asks for level 80 (wiki). Renown 5 with the Manaforge Vandals gives a raid skip past Nexus-King Salhadaar (wiki); how it is used on Mythic is not confirmed. The 90 minutes are an estimate for all eight bosses, the figure this guide uses for The Big G, a raid of the same length.

The entrance: 42.2, 21.7 is conquestcapped's waypoint (42.19, 21.73). The wiki puts the summoning stone and instance line at Shadow Point at 42, 21, and this guide's Xy Trustee's Gearglider and Vandal's Gearglider have Zo'turu beside the entrance at 42.0, 22.2.

About 100 kills are expected if the guides' 1% is right; nobody has published a count from after the launch, which is why confidence is medium. The Big G, the Mythic mount of the raid before, has the same pattern and the same unofficial 1%. Whether the chance is each looter's own or one roll for the kill is not known for this mount either; for Anu'relos, Flame's Guidance, the Dragonflight counterpart, players' tallies came out well under 1% per looter in full raids. wow.gg's 2026 guide gives '~12 %' with no basis and calls the mount the Star-Devourer; it is not used.

The reins bind when picked up (Wowhead tooltip); wow.gg says the drop is personal and cannot be handed to another raid member, which is not confirmed.

The launch date of 2 March 2026 is from a search excerpt of Icy Veins' pre-launch guide, not confirmed. Patch 12.0.0 (20 January 2026) lowered enemy health and damage across the raid relative to player power (wiki). The Heroic mount of the same boss, the Royal Voidwing, was a limited-time reward (wiki). The journal files this mount under 'Profession'; its source lines, Wowhead and the wiki all say a drop.

Confidence in this entry: medium. Looked up in 2026.
