Sold by Deathguard Netharian, the Combatant Mount Quartermaster in the Valley of Strength, Orgrimmar, for 1 Vicious Saddle. It was the reward of The War Within's third PvP season and has since moved to the saddle vendor. A saddle is earned in rated PvP: wins at 1,000 rating or more fill the Season Rewards bar; the first full bar of a season gives that season's own vicious mount, and every further full bar in the same season gives a Vicious Saddle.

- This season's vicious mount first: reach 1,000 rating (Combatant) in a rated bracket and fill the Season Rewards bar once (roughly 40 wins in Battleground Blitz or rated battlegrounds, 80 wins in 3v3 or 240 in 2v2) · about 20 h

Notes and sources
Deathguard Netharian in Orgrimmar sells it for 1 Vicious Saddle. Wowhead's page for the Horde item (243159) lists him under sold-by at a cost of 1, the wiki's 2026 page for the vendor has it in his stock at 1 Vicious Saddle, and the wiki's pages for the mount and for the saddle say the same. The coordinates are the wiki's; the wow.gg guide puts the vendor at about 42.0, 72.4.
The journal and Wowhead's tooltip still give only the old source, The War Within Season 3 (patch 11.2), and name no vendor. That season is over, but each expansion's vicious mounts are put on the saddle vendors near the start of the next one (wiki).
Saddles can only be earned while a rated PvP season is running: Midnight Season 2 began on 18 August 2026 and the wiki lists it as ongoing with no end date; its own mount is the Vicious Lightbloom Boar. The guide counts 2v2, 3v3, rated battlegrounds, Solo Shuffle and Battleground Blitz but gives no win count for Solo Shuffle, and the points a win pays were not found; the bar on the Rated tab of the PvP window shows the progress.
The saddle binds when picked up (wiki), so it goes to the character that fills the bar, and the vendor and this item are Horde ones, so that has to be a Horde character.
This is the Horde mount (item 243159); the Alliance one of the same name (item 243157) is a separate mount sold by Necrolord Sipe in Stormwind City. It is a ground mount (wiki) and the item asks for level 10.
The guide linked is written for the Vicious War Raptor and does not name the Void Creeper, but the way to a saddle and the vendor are the same.
