Sold as Reins of the Ice Mammoth by Lillehoff at Dun Niffelem in the Storm Peaks for 1,000 gold to an Alliance character that is Revered with the Sons of Hodir. The frost giants start out hostile: a quest chain that begins at K3 with They Took Our Men! wins them over, and their daily quests and Relics of Ulduar do the rest.

- Revered with The Sons of Hodir: they start at the bottom of Hated, and the quest chain from They Took Our Men! at K3 (36 steps; Mending Fences and A Spark of Hope pay 28,600 reputation each) ends about halfway through Honored. The rest, 5,800 at most, comes from Dun Niffelem's daily quests (455 each, 650 for How To Slay Your Dragon), 455 for an Everfrost Chip found nearby and Relics of Ulduar handed to Lillehoff ten at a time. In a week of Wrath of the Lich King Timewalking the two big quests pay half as much again and go past Revered on their own · about 3 h over 3 days

Notes and sources
This is the Alliance's Ice Mammoth (item 43958); the Horde's is a separate mount (item 44080) from the same vendor on the same terms (wiki). The standing is asked of the character that buys; the Sons of Hodir are missing from the wiki's Warband reputations, as found for the Grand Ice Mammoth.
The quest chain is counted inside the reputation, as for the Horde's Ice Mammoth, because it is how the standing is earned from Hated: a character already Revered has done it. The Horde's Ice Mammoth counts 5 hours and 5 days for the same reputation, the most it could take with the end of the chain not pinned down; the 3 hours and 3 days here come from working out where the chain ends. Neither was measured in the game.
During Wrath of the Lich King Timewalking the dailies fall away. Wowhead's faction page (as read in 2026, 149 comments) has many reports from 2020 to 2024 that in those weeks, whose buff Sign of the Scourge adds 50% to Northrend reputation, Mending Fences (42,900) and A Spark of Hope alone took a character from Hated to Exalted. A 2020 comment puts the quests before them at 30-45 minutes.
Outside such a week, 2,470 a day assumes the five dailies open below Revered. The wiki has A Viscous Cleaning from Friendly and How To Slay Your Dragon from Honored, and says the rest open 'once the required reputation is reached'.
Sources differ on the smaller amounts: the wiki gives Hodir's Tribute (ten Relics of Ulduar) 341 where a 2020 comment says 325, and Wowhead's guide gives an Everfrost Chip 350 where the wiki has 455. Relics of Ulduar drop from enemies all over the Storm Peaks and in its dungeons, do not bind and can be handed in again and again.
The Wowhead guide linked (last edited 2020) covers the Sons of Hodir as one leg of a two-week Northrend plan. It starts with Gretchen Fizzlespark at K3 and says the faction reaches Revered 'in just over an hour from quests', and that a commendation badge worth 500 reputation is sold for 50 Timewarped Badges by Auzin, the Wrath Timewalking vendor. Wowhead has no guide to this faction on its own.
Lillehoff's coordinates are Wowhead's tooltip (66.0, 61.4). The price is the listed one; whether the usual reputation discount applies was not checked. The item asks for level 17 and binds when picked up (wiki).
