How to get it

Made by combining 20 Devoured Energy-Pods. A pod is a sure drop from each of the four rares that end the Devourer Attacks on K'aresh (Korgoth the Hungerer at The Oasis, Miasmawrath at Eco-Dome: Primus, The Harvester at The Atrium, The Wallbreaker at Tazavesh), but only from a warband's first kill of each rare in a week: four pods a week, so five weeks at the least.

Time there about 1 h 30 min a visit

Guide Method: Translocated Gorger Mount Guide

Before you go

  • K'aresh opened: the Ghosts of K'aresh campaign begun, with A Shadowy Invitation from Alleria Windrunner in the Foundation Hall in Dornogal (later characters can skip it once one character has done The Tabiqa) · about 1 h
  • 20 Devoured Energy-Pods: five weeks of the four Devourer Attacks. Only one attack runs at a time; killing devourers at the site fills a bar, the rare comes when it is full, and the next attack starts 15 to 30 minutes after the last one's rare has died. The pods are warbound and the weekly four are shared by the whole warband · about 8 h over 4 weeks

In all: about 9 h of play, spread over 4 weeks, starting from nothing.

Getting there

Devourer Attack sites on K'aresh (four; Eco-Dome: Primus is the one nearest the middle)
K'aresh · 50.6, 54
/way K'aresh 50.6 54
From Stormwind (Alliance) about 2.4 min of travel
  1. Take the portal from Stormwind to Dornogal*
  2. Take the Spatial Rift to K'aresh*
  3. Fly the rest of the way
From Orgrimmar (Horde) about 2.4 min of travel
  1. Take the portal from Orgrimmar to Dornogal
  2. Take the Spatial Rift to K'aresh*
  3. Fly the rest of the way

/way is for the TomTom addon. Travel times are estimates: flying at 55 yards a second in a straight line and 30 seconds for a portal. A star marks a portal that needs a quest or other unlock done first.

Notes and sources

The mount is not looted but put together from 20 pods: Wowhead's item page lists it as created by Power Energy-pod from 20 Devoured Energy-Pods. The journal's "Drop: Devourer Swarms, Zone: Tazavesh" hides the count and the cap, and Tazavesh is only one of the four sites.

The sites, from a 2025 Wowhead comment (Method's are within two points):

  • Korgoth the Hungerer, The Oasis, 71.8, 28.2 (K'aresh map)
  • Miasmawrath, Eco-Dome: Primus, 50.6, 54.0 (K'aresh map)
  • The Harvester, The Atrium, 49.5, 64.2 (K'aresh map)
  • The Wallbreaker, 28.6, 74.3 on the Tazavesh map

A running attack shows as an event mark on the map for a character that has not yet killed its rare that week, and is announced in chat; the attacks are not inside Phase Diving. Repeating a rare in the same week gives no second pod, on any character of the warband, so each week all four different rares have to be found.

The order: the top comment gives a fixed round (Oasis, Primus, Atrium, Tazavesh) from the test realm, but 2025 replies report a random order and waits of 14 to over 70 minutes on live, and say the timer belongs to the copy of the zone one is in, so leaving K'aresh in between can land on a copy with a different timer. The timer only starts when the rare is dead. Method says the group finder can cut the waiting.

A macro from a 2025 comment shows which of the four are done this week (quests 86464 Harvester, 86447 Miasmawrath, 86465 Wallbreaker, 84993 Korgoth). Each rare also drops, once a week per character, a quest item that is handed in at The Oasis for a fifth of a weekly quest there (same top comment).

Nothing found is later than 2025; that the attacks still run unchanged in Midnight is not confirmed. The time on the spot is one week's round of the four attacks with the waits between them, an estimate. The place given is the site nearest the middle of the four.

Wowhead's own guide to patch 11.2's mounts (updated 2025) has one line on this mount and no steps, so Method's guide is the one linked.

Confidence in this entry: medium. Looked up in 2026.
