How to get it

Drops from Midnight Falls, the second and last boss of the raid March on Quel'Danas, on Mythic only. While Midnight is the current expansion every kill gives three copies, handed out at random as personal loot.

Chance 15% once a week, so about 7 tries on average — worked out, not read: 3 copies per kill (wow.gg, Method, both 2026) shared at random among the 20 players of a Mythic raid = 3 / 20 = 15% per player per kill. Wowhead lists no loot count for this item (page read 2026-10-10)

Getting there

March on Quel'Danas raid entrance, near the Sunwell
Isle of Quel'Danas · 52.6, 85.8
/way Isle of Quel'Danas 52.6 85.8
From Stormwind (Alliance) about 1.4 min of travel
  1. Take the portal from Wizard's Sanctum to Silvermoon*
  2. Fly the rest of the way
From Orgrimmar (Horde) about 1.5 min of travel
  1. Take the portal from Orgrimmar to Silvermoon*
  2. Fly the rest of the way

/way is for the TomTom addon. Travel times are estimates: flying at 55 yards a second in a straight line and 30 seconds for a portal. A star marks a portal that needs a quest or other unlock done first.

Notes and sources

Belo'ren, Child of Al'ar has to be defeated first; the way to Midnight Falls does not open otherwise (wow.gg). One Mythic kill per character per week.

Whether the 15% holds for each player depends on how the three copies are handed out: Method and wow.gg both call it random personal loot, and no source says whether players who already own the mount are passed over. Guides expect the three-per-kill rule to end when the next expansion arrives, with the chance falling to about 1%, as it did for earlier Mythic end-boss mounts; Blizzard has not given a date or a figure.

Guides differ slightly on the entrance: wow.gg has 52.61, 85.75 and Method 52.83, 88.42, both on the Isle of Quel'Danas map, while the wiki's raid page names Eversong as the zone.

The time on the spot is an estimate for a two-boss clear; no source gives one. The journal's two lines match Wowhead's tooltip.

Confidence in this entry: medium. Looked up in 2026.
