Brewfest Bomber

Look it up on WowheadHow to get it
Rare find in the Keg-Shaped Treasure Chest, the once-a-day reward for killing Coren Direbrew in the Grim Guzzler, the tavern in Blackrock Depths, while Brewfest is on. He is fought through the Group Finder's holiday queue, which forms the party and sets it down in the tavern. Only the Battle.net account's first chest of the day can hold the mount.
Chance No chance was ever published for the one attempt a day that counts. Wowhead's count as it stands (read 2026-10-11): 1,018 Brewfest Bombers in 224,420 opened Keg-Shaped Treasure Chests (item 117393), 0.45%. That figure is not the chance: the mount was added in 2025 while the 224,420 pool every chest opened since the epic chest came in (the wiki dates it to patch 6.0.2, 2014), and they include the later chests of a day, which cannot hold it. Blizzard's wording (quoted on the wiki for the 2024 festival) is a 'significantly' raised chance on the account's first attempt of the day that grows with each failed day; no figures. Guesses, not measurements: a well-rated Wowhead comment of September 2025 and wow.gg put the first attempt at 5-10%

Notes and sources
Brewfest 2026 ran from 20 September to 6 October, so the next chance is in September 2027. No place is given: the queue is joined from anywhere and carries the party straight to the Grim Guzzler, as for the Great Brewfest Kodo, which has the dungeon's entrance for reference (Searing Gorge 27.6, 72.4). The party is made up by the queue, and the time on the spot is an estimate for the queue and the fight.
One try a day for the whole account: Blizzard's change to holiday bosses (wiki) makes only the first attempt on a Battle.net account eligible, and the best-rated comments on Wowhead's page say the same for this mount ('first Coren Direbrew kill of the day, account-wide', 2025; 'first chest per day per account', 2026). Players who ran dozens of alts a day report nothing from the later chests (304 kills, mount on the day's very first; 193, 208 and 215 kills without it), while three commenters claim a drop from a second chest (two in 2025, one in 2026) and are contradicted in the replies.
The wiki's page for Coren Direbrew still words the chest as once 'per day, per character', and a 2026 reply quotes Wowhead's Brewfest guide saying once a day per character; the chest is per character, the chance at the mount per account.
How long it takes: commenters report it on the first day, on days 2 to 9, and not at all after all 17 days of 2025 ('I did it everyday and didnt get the bomber'). A 2025 comment claims about 80% of those trying had it by the end of that festival, checked on the armory, which cannot be verified. Bad-luck protection is Blizzard's wording; whether it carries over from one year's festival to the next is not established.
A much-described way round the limit (comments of 2025 to 2026) is to queue one's main account together with up to four Starter Edition accounts under the same Battle.net account, so that five first chests are opened at the same moment; a mount looted on a starter account is learned account-wide. That is recorded as a report only.
On level: the wiki says characters below the current expansion's levels get a Keg-Shaped Treasure Box without mounts, while level 10 starter characters are reported to loot the mount and the Great Brewfest Kodo has reports of low-level characters getting the epic chest. A hotfix of 29 September 2026 made Coren's items take the looting character's level as their required level (wiki).
Added in patch 11.2.0 and first obtainable at Brewfest 2025 (23 September to 9 October 2025); a hotfix of 24 September 2025 renamed it from Brewfest Barrel Bomber (wiki). The mount is a flying one, binds when picked up and asks for level 10 (wiki). The same chest can hold the Swift Brewfest Ram and the Great Brewfest Kodo.
No guide is linked: it takes only queueing once a day. Wowhead's page has 75 comments, 66 of them from the 2025 festival.
Confidence in this entry: medium. Looked up in 2026.
