Reward of the achievement What a Long, Strange Trip It's Been: earn the meta-achievement of eight of the yearly holidays (Lunar Festival, Love is in the Air, Noblegarden, Children's Week, Midsummer Fire Festival, Brewfest, Hallow's End and the Feast of Winter Veil). Progress is account-wide, and each holiday comes once a year, so from nothing it takes most of a year.

Before you go
- One round of the calendar: each of the eight holidays runs once a year, for one to two and a half weeks, so every meta-achievement not yet earned has to wait for its holiday to come round · 52 weeks
- To Honor One's Elders (Lunar Festival, about 16 February to 2 March): the elders of Eastern Kingdoms, Kalimdor, Northrend, the Cataclysm zones, the dungeons and both factions' cities, 50 Coins of Ancestry, and four small festival tasks · about 6 h
- Fool For Love (Love is in the Air, about 2 to 16 February) · about 4 h
- Noble Gardener (Noblegarden, one week in April) · about 3 h
- For the Children (Children's Week, one week around the turn of April and May) · about 4 h
- The Flame Warden for the Alliance or The Flame Keeper for the Horde (Midsummer Fire Festival, about 21 June to 5 July) · about 5 h
- Brewmaster (Brewfest, about 20 September to 6 October) · about 3 h

Notes and sources
No place is given: the eight holidays play out across the whole world, and the mount comes with the last meta-achievement. The wiki says it is now added straight to the Warband's collection; it used to come in the mail from Alexstrasza. Hallow's End 2026, starting about 18 October, was the next of the eight when this was written.
The eight criteria are confirmed by Wowhead's tooltip and page for the achievement (2144; 'Account-wide progress', attained by 52% of profiles) and by the wiki. Brewmaster is still one of them, and Pilgrim's Bounty, Day of the Dead and Pirates' Day are not; the wiki notes that Blizzard does not plan to add Pilgrim.
The holiday dates are those in the Wowhead guide linked (a user-submitted guide, updated 2025) and shift a little from year to year.
The hours for each holiday are estimates, not read from any source, and they are the weak part of this entry. Each meta is a set of smaller holiday achievements (twelve for the Lunar Festival), and the wiki quotes Blizzard that holiday achievements may ask for near-max-level dungeon content, battlegrounds and a secondary profession. Only the Lunar Festival's criteria were read in full; whether any of the others cannot be finished in one sitting of its holiday was not checked.
Wowhead also keeps a guide for each holiday, all updated in 2026 and not read here:
- Lunar Festival
- Love is in the Air
- Noblegarden
- Children's Week
- Midsummer Fire Festival
- Feast of Winter Veil
Recent comments on the achievement speak of 5 to 15 years between the first meta and the last, which is players letting holidays pass, not a requirement.
Confidence in this entry: medium. Looked up in 2026.
