Albino Drake
Find a character at the top of the page to see whether your account has this mount, and where that character stands on what it asks for.
Look it up on WowheadHow to get it
Reward of the achievement Leading the Cavalry: obtain 50 mounts usable by a single character. The count is account-wide; Mei Francis then sends the Reins of the Albino Drake by mail.
Before you go
- 50 mounts in the collection that one character can use (mounts of the other faction or of other classes do not count for that character)
Getting there
There is nowhere to travel for this one.
Notes and sources
There is nowhere to go for this mount, so no place is given above: it comes with the 50th countable mount, in the mail from Mei Francis (wiki).
Wowhead's tooltip for the achievement (2143) reads 'Obtain 50 mounts (usable by a single character)', with account-wide progress and the Reins of the Albino Drake as the reward. The tooltip does not spell out which mounts count. This guide reads 'usable by a single character' as leaving out mounts of the other faction or of another class, here and for the later steps of the series (the Jade Pandaren Kite at 150).
By the wiki, mounts that only work in one place (the Ahn'Qiraj battle tanks) do count, and temporary mount items and a druid's flight forms do not.
In the mount-count series it stands between Filling Up The Barn (25) and Mountain o' Mounts (100) (wiki). It was added in patch 3.0.2 and moved out of the General category in patch 6.0.2 (wiki), which is why the journal still files it under General.
The item binds when picked up (Wowhead's tooltip). Wowhead's page for the mount was not read.
Confidence in this entry: high. Looked up in 2026.
