Notes and sources
The journal's 'Cost: 8,000' is Voidlight Marl: Wowhead's sold-by list has Magovu (npc 240279) at 8,000 of currency 3316, and the wiki, Wowhead's guide (updated 2026), Method (2026) and wow.gg agree on the price and on Renown 19; the item's own tooltip reads 'Requires Renown Rank 19 with the Amani Tribe'. She also sells the Amani Blessed Bear at Renown 17 for 6,000, so both mounts take 14,000 Marl.
Confidence is medium because of the time: no source gives a pace to Renown 19 or puts a number on the campaign's reputation, and the weeks are carried over from this guide's Silvermoon Court mounts rather than measured for the Amani.
Sources disagree on the rares: Wowhead's guide says to kill Zul'Aman's rares every week and wow.gg gives 50 reputation for each first kill of the week, but a 2026 comment under Wowhead's guide says killing the same rares every week gives no reputation.
Halduron Brightwing's dungeon quest goes to one faction of the player's choice each week, so it counts only if spent here. Helps (Wowhead's guide, Method): a Contract: The Amani Tribe adds reputation to every world quest in any Midnight zone, and the Darkmoon Faire and the world quest bonus event raise what is earned. Renown is Warband-wide (Wowhead's guide, Method) and Voidlight Marl is shared across the account's characters (wow.gg).
The only Wowhead comment on the item (2026) is a player who did not see it in Magovu's stock; presumably below Renown 19, nothing more is known.
Coordinates are the wiki's and Wowhead's guide's (45.8, 65.8); Method and wow.gg have 45.92, 65.90. Added in patch 12.0.1 (wiki). A flying mount; the item binds when picked up.
