Nothing to unlock first: go there and it is yours.

/way is for the TomTom addon. Travel times are estimates: flying at 55 yards a second in a straight line and 30 seconds for a portal. A star marks a portal that needs a quest or other unlock done first.

Nothing is bought: the journal files it under vendors, but Wowhead's tooltip for the achievement (61584) lists the four zone achievements, marks progress as account-wide and names the mount as the reward, and the wiki agrees. So glyphs picked up by different characters add up. The 42 glyphs are counted the same way by wow.gg (11, 11, 9, 11), by Wowhead's top comment on the achievement (2026) and by Method. The time on the spot is the middle of wow.gg's figure for the whole round, 40 to 60 minutes.

Method's 2026 guide for Eversong Woods gives the same spots within a tenth or two, except The Shining Span at 48.5, 6.4 and a Path of Dawn line that repeats Goldenmist Village's coordinates, a slip in that guide. Method has a guide of the same kind for each of the other three zones; only the Eversong one was checked. Wowhead's page for the achievement lists no glyph guide of its own (only its general Midnight Mount Guide), and no other was found; Icy Veins has one page for all four zones, which could not be read.

wow.gg asks for a level 80 character and the Midnight introduction; the item itself asks for level 10 (wiki). What Voidstorm takes to enter is from this guide's other mounts. The Coiled Isle of patch 12.1 has 11 more glyphs with an achievement of their own that is not part of this one. The item binds when picked up.
