Notes and sources
Alliance characters only; the Horde's twin is the Armored Blue Wind Rider, from the same vendor. It flies only once the character can fly.
Mei Francis stands in the Dalaran above Crystalsong Forest, which is what the journal's zone means; the portal in Stormwind's portal room leads there. The coordinates given above are one of Wowhead's tooltip positions for her (57.2-58.6, 40.4-43.6). The wiki gives 58, 42, and wow.gg 58.2, 42.0, at the door of the Magical Menagerie east of Runeweaver Square. The wiki notes a Mei Francis in the Broken Isles' Dalaran as well, added in patch 7.0.3; whether that one sells this mount was not looked into.
2,000 is the price at Neutral; mages start at Friendly. She belongs to the Kirin Tor, whose standing lowers her prices; the wiki says she gives such discounts without listing them for this mount. wow.gg (2026) gives:

- 1,800 at Honored
- 1,700 at Revered
- 1,600 at Exalted
The level asked differs by source: 27 with Apprentice Riding by the wiki (since patches 9.0.1 and 9.0.2), 10 by wow.gg.
