How to get it

Sold by Construct E'nui in the side room of Astalor's Sanctum, Silvermoon City, for 2,000 Remnants of Anguish, the currency of Prey hunts. It was the rank 5 reward of the Preyseeker's Journey, the Prey track of Midnight Season 1; since patch 12.1.0 E'nui sells past seasons' Prey rewards, by the wiki with no unlock asked. Wowhead's tooltip for the item still shows a requirement of rank 5 in that Season 1 track, which can no longer be advanced, so look at the vendor before saving up (see the notes).

Time there about 2 min a visit

Before you go

  • Prey opened, once for the account: Astalor Bloodsworn's four quests starting in Silvermoon City with Prey: Astalor's Initiative, then The Power of Anguish, When Predator Becomes Prey and To the Sanctum! · about 0.5 h
  • 2,000 Remnants of Anguish: about 250 from the target of a Hard or Nightmare hunt, more from ambushes survived and traps disarmed and from the quest A Nightmarish Task; about eight such hunts · about 2.75 h

In all: about 3.3 h of play, starting from nothing.

Getting there

Construct E'nui, Astalor's Sanctum (side room, right of Astalor)
Silvermoon City · 56.8, 67
/way Silvermoon City 56.8 67
From Stormwind (Alliance) about 1 min of travel
  1. Take the portal from Wizard's Sanctum to Silvermoon*
  2. Fly the rest of the way
From Orgrimmar (Horde) about 1 min of travel
  1. Take the portal from Orgrimmar to Silvermoon*
  2. Fly the rest of the way

/way is for the TomTom addon. Travel times are estimates: flying at 55 yards a second in a straight line and 30 seconds for a portal. A star marks a portal that needs a quest or other unlock done first.

Notes and sources

This mount follows the Preyseeker's Wrath: the same vendor, currency and open question, with 2,000 Remnants and rank 5 in place of 2,550 and rank 10. Only the wiki's page for this mount was checked for it.

The open question is whether the purchase still asks for rank 5 of the Preyseeker's Journey.

Against:

  • the wiki's page for the mount puts the rank in the past tense ('During Midnight Season 1, purchase also required reaching rank 5 in Preyseeker's Journey') and lists only level 10 as the requirement now
  • the wiki's Prey page: 'past season rewards for anguish, with no unlock requirement'
  • Wowhead's listing of what E'nui sells: a price and nothing else
  • Icy Veins' Prey rewards guide (2026): E'nui sells previous season rewards to those who did not pick them up

For: Wowhead's tooltip for this item still carries the line 'Requires Preyseeker's Journey rank 5' beside the new source line 'Vendor: Construct E'nui'.

The Preyseeker's Journey can no longer be progressed now that Season 1 has ended (wiki), so if the line is still enforced the mount is out of reach for an account that did not get to rank 5 in Season 1. It was not checked in the game, and this guide follows the wiki.

History: added in patch 12.0.1 (10 February 2026) and sold by Construct V'anore during Midnight Season 1; patch 12.1.0 (11 August 2026) moved it to Construct E'nui (wiki). The price of 2,000 is the same in the journal, Wowhead's tooltip and the wiki.

Coordinates: Wowhead's map for E'nui (NPC 259939) has 56.8, 67.0, the wiki 55.8, 65.8.

Hunts: characters of level 78 to 89 can only hunt on Normal, and on Hard and Nightmare the last fight is fought by one player alone (wiki), which is the game's rule and not a judgement. How many hunts a week can be taken is not clear from the sources.

A flying mana wyrm; the item binds when picked up (wiki). E'nui also sells the other Season 1 rewards, among them Preyseeker's Wrath for 2,550 Remnants, so both together take 4,550.

Confidence in this entry: low. Looked up in 2026.
