How to get it

Reward of the achievement Glory of the Midnight Delver, four things done in Midnight's delves: every story of all 12 delves (Delve Loremaster: Midnight), every Sturdy Chest in them (Midnight: Leave No Treasure Unfound), all of Valeera Sanguinar's curios at rank 4 (Curio Fanatic: Midnight), and the season's nemesis defeated in its lair, which in Midnight Season 2 is Azta'rec in Venomfall Deeps on The Coiled Isle (My Venomous Nemesis). Progress counts for the whole account.

Guides Wowhead: Delves in Midnight · Method: Azta'rec Nemesis Delve Guide for WoW Midnight Season 2

Before you go

  • The Coiled Isle opened, for the delves Gnarldor Isle and The Ring of Glory and for the nemesis's lair: The Curse of Ula'tek campaign, chapter 1 (it starts with Hagar's Invitation in Silvermoon City) and chapter 2 as far as What Lies Beyond the Fog, which sends the character to the island · about 3 h
  • Delve Loremaster: Midnight: each of the three stories of each of the 12 delves completed once, 36 runs. A delve shows one story a day and changes it daily · about 7 h over 2 weeks
  • Midnight: Leave No Treasure Unfound: every Sturdy Chest in the 12 delves opened. Most are there in every story, some only in certain ones, so they can be picked up during the story runs; the tier does not matter · about 3 h
  • Curio Fanatic: Midnight: every curio that Valeera Sanguinar, the delve companion, can have, each at rank 4. Curios and their upgrades come from the chests at the end of delves, the higher ranks from Bountiful Delves of tier 7 and up, whose coffer takes a Restored Coffer Key · about 8 h over 4 weeks
  • The seasonal nemesis: Azta'rec defeated in Venomfall Deeps, in a snake building on the north side of The Coiled Isle (51.2, 30.3), on either of its two difficulties, during Midnight Season 2. The lower one, shown as '?', opens once any delve has been cleared on tier 7 with lives to spare · about 0.5 h

In all: about 21.5 h of play, spread over 4 weeks, starting from nothing.

Getting there

Delver's Headquarters, the Bazaar (hub: the delves are spread over Eversong Woods, Zul'Aman, Harandar, Voidstorm and The Coiled Isle)
Silvermoon City · 52.4, 78.2
/way Silvermoon City 52.4 78.2
From Stormwind (Alliance) about 1 min of travel
  1. Take the portal from Wizard's Sanctum to Silvermoon*
  2. Fly the rest of the way
From Orgrimmar (Horde) about 1 min of travel
  1. Take the portal from Orgrimmar to Silvermoon*
  2. Fly the rest of the way

/way is for the TomTom addon. Travel times are estimates: flying at 55 yards a second in a straight line and 30 seconds for a portal. A star marks a portal that needs a quest or other unlock done first.

Notes and sources

The achievement's four parts (Wowhead's tooltip and page):

  • Delve Loremaster: Midnight
  • Curio Fanatic: Midnight
  • Midnight: Leave No Treasure Unfound
  • Defeat the Seasonal Nemesis, met by My Shady Nemesis (Nullaeus, Season 1) or My Venomous Nemesis (Azta'rec, Season 2)

A 2026 Blizzard post says My Shady Nemesis had to be earned before Season 2 began. Season 2 began on 18 August 2026 and is still running (wiki); when it ends was not found, and the nemesis line has so far moved on with each season, so the fourth part is tied to the current season.

The 12 delves (wiki):

  • Collegiate Calamity, The Darkway, Parhelion Plaza and The Shadow Enclave in Eversong Woods
  • Atal'Aman and Twilight Crypts in Zul'Aman
  • The Grudge Pit and The Gulf of Memory in Harandar
  • Shadowguard Point and Sunkiller Sanctum in Voidstorm
  • Gnarldor Isle and The Ring of Glory on The Coiled Isle

Patch 12.1 added Gnarldor Isle and The Ring of Glory to both the stories and the chests: Wowhead's tooltips list 12 delves for each, while the wiki's page for the chest achievement and wow.gg's guide for this mount (published and last updated in 2026) still describe ten, Nullaeus and Torment's Rise, and wow.gg's achievement names are off; that guide is not linked for those reasons.

Not established: which curios Curio Fanatic counts now. The wiki says curios change each season, marks Season 1's as no longer obtainable and lists six for Season 2:

  • Corrosive Bilespear
  • Dundun's Favor
  • Essence Trap
  • Soul-Cracking Dreamcatcher
  • Ouroboric Curse
  • Venom Infusion

The achievement's text is 'all curios that are available for Valeera Sanguinar at rank 4', Wowhead's page for it lists no criteria, and its four comments are all from Season 1, so whether a Season 1 curio left below rank 4 blocks it could not be settled. Confidence is medium for that and for the estimated times. 2026 Wowhead comments report the curio line showing a green tick before it was really complete.

A search excerpt of a Blizzard forum post on Season 2 says an upgrade now always raises a curio by one rank, that upgrades also come from a delve's Heavy Trunk and that a Restored Coffer Key on a Bountiful Coffer guarantees a curio; the post itself was not read.

The nemesis: the wiki has '?' as the equal of a tier 8 delve and '??' of tier 11, opened by a tier 10 clear; Method recommends item level 290 for '?' and says Azta'rec can also turn up in any delve of tier 8 or higher, which is not his lair. Method's waypoint is 51.22, 30.27; Icy Veins, seen only in a search excerpt, has 51.23, 30.70.

The place given is only a point in Silvermoon, the Delver's Headquarters where Valeera stands (Wowhead's guide: 52.4, 78.2); there is no single place to go, and the time on the spot is an estimate for one delve. The Wowhead guide linked is the one its achievement page lists under Guides (updated 2026).

The mount is a ground mount and binds when picked up (wow.gg, Wowhead tooltip); added in patch 12.0.0 (wiki).

Confidence in this entry: medium. Looked up in 2026.
