How to get it

Reward of the quest Relinquishing Relics, the tenth quest of The Path of Light, the first chapter of Arator's Journey in the Midnight campaign. The chapter is picked on the Scouting Map in the Sanctum of Light in Silvermoon City (quest Arator, level 83). Alonsus Faol waits outside; with him and Arator it runs through the Sunwell, Light's Hope Chapel and the Scarlet Monastery and back to the Sunwell on the Isle of Quel'Danas, where the relics are handed to Taelia, Valunei, Salandria, Mehlar and Velen and Faol gives the mount.

/way is for the TomTom addon. Travel times are estimates: flying at 55 yards a second in a straight line and 30 seconds for a portal. A star marks a portal that needs a quest or other unlock done first.

Notes and sources

Arator's Journey is one of the three level 83-88 story branches and part of the campaign, so an account that has played Midnight through may already own the mount. Wowhead has the quest as number 86902 with a minimum level of 83, open to both factions. It is a ground mount.

Two Wowhead comments report trouble: in 2026 one player found the mount only became usable once they had moved on to the next quest, and another said five characters had played the chapter without any of them being given it; nothing explains the second. Whether a character that took the campaign skip can still play the chapter is not established.

The wiki and wow.gg give no coordinates. Those here were worked out from the game's own quest marker tables (QuestPOIBlob and QuestPOIPoint, from wago.tools):

  • the marker of the quest Arator is at Silvermoon City 45.7, 70.3
  • it is handed in to Faol at 45.8, 65.8
  • Relinquishing Relics is taken and handed in on the Isle of Quel'Danas at 52.6, 55.9, with its errands around the Sunwell at about 52, 46

The chain moves the player between its places by its own portals and flights. The time on the spot is only the minutes at the map; the chain's time is in the list above.

Confidence in this entry: medium. Looked up in 2026.
