• Renown 17 with The Singularity: 2,500 reputation a rank, counted for the whole Warband. Once only: the Voidstorm campaign and side quests, its five lore objects (250 each) and five high points (100 each). Every week: the Stormarion Assault event with its weekly quest Stand Your Ground, the first kill of each of Voidstorm's 14 rares (50 each, 700 in all), Halduron Brightwing's dungeon quest in Silvermoon (to a faction of choice), world quests and Special Assignments in Voidstorm, and Bountiful Delves · about 15 h over 6 weeks
• 6,000 Voidlight Marl, the currency of Midnight's outdoor vendors. 1,000 come with the renown itself (500 each at ranks 4 and 14); the rest from Midnight's outdoor activities: Prey hunts, Void Strikes and Incursions, Ritual Sites, world quests · about 2.5 h

In all: about 17.5 h of play, spread over 6 weeks, starting from nothing.

/way is for the TomTom addon. Travel times are estimates: flying at 55 yards a second in a straight line and 30 seconds for a portal. A star marks a portal that needs a quest or other unlock done first.

Void Researcher Anomander in the Voidstorm sells it at Renown 17 with the Singularity for 6,000 Voidlight Marl; the journal's 'Cost: 6,000' is that currency and leaves out the renown. He also sells the Voidbound Stormray at Renown 19 for 8,000 Marl; the two together take 14,000, and this mount follows that one for most details.

Sources:

• Wowhead's tooltip: sold by Void Researcher Anomander in the Voidstorm for 6000; binds when picked up
• the wiki's page for the mount: 'At Renown level 17 with the Singularity', 6,000 Voidlight Marl, Void Researcher Anomander in the Voidstorm, added in patch 12.0.1
• Wowhead's guide (updated 2026), Method and the wiki, as set out for the Voidbound Stormray: Renown 17 for 6,000, though Method's table has it at 13, a slip

wow.gg calls the faction 'The Singularity' in one place and 'Anomaly' in another, and the place Howling Crag; the wiki and Wowhead say Howling Ridge. Renown is Warband-wide (wow.gg: 'account-wide'; Wowhead's guide and Method say the same) and Voidlight Marl is transferable within the Warband (wiki).

Confidence is medium because of the time: no source gives a pace to Renown 17, and what the weekly quest, the campaign or a world quest pays was not found. Whether an account starts at Renown 1 or at nothing was not checked: the 40,000 assumes Renown 1, while wow.gg counts 2,500 for every rank including the first (42,500). The dungeon quest's reputation goes to one faction of the player's choice each week, so it counts only if spent here.

Helps (wow.gg): Contract: The Singularity adds 10-15 reputation to every world quest, the World Quest Bonus Event 50% and the Darkmoon Faire 10%.

Coordinates are the Voidbound Stormray's, from the wiki and Wowhead's guide (52.6, 72.8); wow.gg gives /way #2405 52.57 72.90.

Confidence in this entry: medium. Looked up in 2026.
