Notes and sources
Thraxadar sells it in Masters' Perch, the hub of Slayer's Rise (the journal's zone; wow.gg calls the place the Heights of the Unvanquished). His coordinates are Wowhead's tooltip (39.2, 81.0); Icy Veins has 39.32, 80.96 and wow.gg 39.3, 81.0.
The journal shows the cost only as 6,000: it is Voidlight Marl (Wowhead's sold-by list: Thraxadar, 6,000 of currency 3316; the wiki and Icy Veins agree). Wowhead's page shows the item itself asking for Exalted with the Slayer's Duellum. Thraxadar sells the Frenzied Shredclaw at the same price and standing, so both mounts take 12,000 Marl.
The Slayer's Duellum is an ordinary reputation from Friendly to Exalted, not a renown (wow.gg); the wiki files it under Warband reputations but does not say so in its text. The dailies the wiki lists:
- Collecting Remains
- Preparing for Battle
- Carve Your Way (marked level 90)
Sources disagree on the hand-in of 50 Void-Tainted Remains:
- Icy Veins (updated 2026): 150 reputation
- the wiki's list of dailies: 100
- wow.gg: about 100
War Mode can be switched at Vidious or Ziadan in Masters' Perch; the world quests work without it (Icy Veins). The weekly quest's 1,000 reputation given for the Duskbrute Harrower comes from Wowhead comments and is not confirmed by the other sources.
Past Exalted, every 10,000 reputation gives a Slayer's Duellum Trove that can hold the Duskbrute Harrower.
The item binds when picked up and asks for Apprentice Riding; a ground mount, added in patch 12.0.1 (wiki). Wowhead's page for the mount has no comments yet, and no Wowhead guide to this reputation was found.
Confidence in this entry: medium. Looked up in 2026.
