Before you go
- Exalted with the Slayer's Duellum: 39,000 reputation. Sources: world quests in Slayer's Rise, the weekly quest Preparing for Battle (1,000) and the daily at Masters' Perch (100), Void-Tainted Remains handed in 50 at a time (the repeatable quest Collecting Remains, 100 a time), the Spectral Chest (300, once a week); War Supply Crates (300, about every 15 minutes, level 90 only) and the half-hourly events only count in War Mode · about 25 h
- 6,000 Voidlight Marl, Midnight's expansion-wide currency, earned from activities in Eversong Woods, Zul'Aman, Harandar and Voidstorm: Prey hunts, world quests (more with War Mode on), rares, treasures and events · about 3.5 h
In all: about 28.5 h of play, starting from nothing.

/way is for the TomTom addon. Travel times are estimates: flying at 55 yards a second in a straight
line and 30 seconds for a portal. A star marks a portal that needs a quest or other unlock done first.
Notes and sources
Thraxadar sells it in Masters' Perch, the hub of Slayer's Rise (the journal's zone; wow.gg calls the place the Heights of the Unvanquished). He does not show on the map (a 2026 Wowhead comment). Where he stands:
- Wowhead's tooltip: 39.2, 81.0
- wow.gg: 39.3, 81.0
The journal shows the cost only as 6,000: it is Voidlight Marl (Wowhead's sold-by list: Thraxadar, creature 258328, 6,000 of currency 3316; the wiki agrees). Wowhead's tooltip on the item's page shows 'Requires Slayer's Duellum - Exalted', so the standing is asked of the item itself. Thraxadar sells the Prowling Shredclaw at the same price and standing, so both mounts take 12,000 Marl.
The Slayer's Duellum is an ordinary reputation from Friendly to Exalted, not a renown (wow.gg). The world quests and the two quests work without War Mode.
The time for the reputation is the weak figure. What the sources give:
- 50 Void-Tainted Remains: 100 (Wowhead comments, wiki, wow.gg; Icy Veins has 150), looted 2 to 5 at a time and 2 to 10 during the event Void Scavenge
- a world quest: 300 by a 2026 Wowhead reply, about 450 by wow.gg
- the weekly quest: 1,000 (2026 comments)
- crates and the Spectral Chest: nothing for a level 80 character (a 2026 comment)
- the events: 100 only when the player's side won, and mostly not at all (a 2026 commenter)
- the epic battleground set in the zone: no reputation (a 2026 comment)
Past Exalted, every 10,000 reputation gives a Slayer's Duellum Trove that can hold the Duskbrute Harrower; wow.gg calls the chest a Strongbox.
Wowhead's page for the mount has no comments, and Wowhead has no guide to this reputation: its pages for the item and the faction list only the general Midnight Mount Guide. The Icy Veins guide (updated 2026) is linked. The item binds when picked up and asks for Apprentice Riding; a ground mount, added in patch 12.0.1 (wiki).
Confidence in this entry: medium. Looked up in 2026.
