Notes and sources

The journal's cost of 5,000 is Timewarped Badges. There is no single place to go, because the vendor changes with the event; the vendors are listed at the end.

The mount came with Turbulent Timeways IV (2 December 2025 - 10 February 2026). The achievement Master of the Turbulent Timeways IV gave Ta'readon's Mount Voucher, good for one of four bronze Shadowlands mounts from Overseer Ta'readon in Oribos, after which the other three cost 5,000 badges each. That achievement can no longer be earned, and Wowhead comments of 2025 and 2026 say the four then showed on the vendors only for the character that had handed the voucher in.

That changed with Turbulent Timeways V. Icy Veins wrote in 2026 that from 30 June all four would be on the Timewalking vendors for every character, including players who took no part in the event. Wowhead's Turbulent Timeways guide (updated 2026) gives the rule behind it, that each event's mounts go on sale at the Timewalking vendors for 5,000 badges when the next event begins, and lists this harness among them. Wowhead's sold-by list has it at eleven Timewalking vendors, 5,000 badges at each.

warcraftmounts.com disagrees and says only Collector Ta'steld in Oribos sells it, during Shadowlands Timewalking; the wiki still describes only the voucher arrangement. Nothing dated after 11 August 2026, when Turbulent Timeways V ended, was found that confirms it at the vendors today. Wowhead's guide lists the earlier events' mounts (Sandy Shalewing, Timely Buzzbee, Chrono Corsair) under the same rule and does not say that any of them was taken off sale again.

Badges are transferable within the Warband and keep between events (wiki). For the Dragonflight week Warcraft Secrets says the weekly quest pays 500 the first time and 200 on repeat completions; the wiki does not say whether the 500 is once per character or per account.
