Guides Wowhead: The Singularity Renown Guide - Farming and Rewards · Method: The Singularity Renown

• Renown 19 with The Singularity: 2,500 reputation a rank, counted for the whole Warband. Once only: the Voidstorm campaign and side quests, its five lore objects (250 each) and five high points (100 each). Every week: the Stormarion Assault event with its weekly quest Stand Your Ground, the first kill of each of Voidstorm's 14 rares (50 each, 700 in all), Halduron Brightwing's dungeon quest in Silvermoon (to a faction of choice), world quests and Special Assignments in Voidstorm, and Bountiful Delves · about 17 h over 7 weeks
• 8,000 Voidlight Marl, the currency of Midnight's outdoor vendors. 1,500 come with the renown itself (500 each at ranks 4, 14 and 18); the rest from Midnight's outdoor activities: Prey hunts, Void Strikes and Incursions, Ritual Sites, world quests · about 3.5 h

In all: about 20.5 h of play, spread over 7 weeks, starting from nothing.

/way is for the TomTom addon. Travel times are estimates: flying at 55 yards a second in a straight line and 30 seconds for a portal. A star marks a portal that needs a quest or other unlock done first.

Void Researcher Anomander sells it at Howling Ridge (the wiki and Wowhead; Method calls the place Stormarion Citadel and wow.gg the Howling Crag). Coordinates are the wiki's and Wowhead's guide's (52.6, 72.8); Method gives 52.57, 72.90.

The journal's "Cost: 8,000" is Voidlight Marl: Wowhead's sold-by list has Void Researcher Anomander (NPC 248328, Renown Quartermaster) at 8,000 of currency 3316, and the wiki agrees. The item itself reads "Requires Renown Rank 19 with The Singularity" (Wowhead). Wowhead's guide (updated 2026), Method and the wiki all put it at Renown 19 and the faction's other mount, the Ravenous Shredclaw, at 17 for 6,000, so the two together take 14,000 Marl. Two slips elsewhere: an Icy Veins excerpt in a search result has the Stormray at Renown 18, and Method's table has the Shredclaw at 13.

Renown is Warband-wide (Wowhead's guide, Method) and Voidlight Marl is transferable within the Warband (wiki).

Medium confidence because of the time: no source gives a pace to Renown 19, and what Stand Your Ground, the campaign or a world quest pays was not found (Method says only "a large amount"; the wiki's page for the faction lists no sources at all). Whether an account starts at Renown 1 or at nothing was not checked: the 45,000 assumes Renown 1, while wow.gg counts 2,500 for every rank including the first.

The dungeon quest's reputation goes to one faction of the player's choice each week, so it counts only if spent here. World quests in Voidstorm change every Wednesday and Saturday (Method).

Helps (Method):

• Contract: The Singularity adds 10-15 reputation to every world quest in any Midnight zone
• the World Quest Bonus Event adds 50%
• the Darkmoon Faire adds 10%

A 2026 Wowhead comment says the mount could not then be previewed or found in the journal; the journal lists it now.

Confidence in this entry: medium. Looked up in 2026.
