Delver's Arcane Golem

Looted from a Sturdy Chest inside the Gnarldor Isle delve, in the south of The Coiled Isle. Of the delve's three Sturdy Chests it is the one at 60.4, 68.1 on the delve's own map, behind a ruined building in the middle; it holds the mount on any tier and in any of the delve's three stories.

/way is for the TomTom addon. Travel times are estimates: flying at 55 yards a second in a straight line and 30 seconds for a portal. A star marks a portal that needs a quest or other unlock done first.

A certain find. Wowhead has 1,033 mounts in 1,034 openings of the Sturdy Chest (object 655978), the wiki calls it 'a guaranteed drop from 1 of the chests' on any difficulty, and a 2026 comment took it from the first chest reached on Tier 1. Several 2026 commenters did not see it in the chest's loot and found it in the mail after leaving the delve.

The chest, on the delve's own map (Gnarldor Isle, map 2635), not on The Coiled Isle's: The delve's other two Sturdy Chests (about 28.4, 38.2 and 52.4, 40.9) do not hold it.

The entrance is Wowhead's zone-guide waypoint, 64.6, 78.0; Method gives 64.45, 77.73. The delve is for levels 80 to 90 and one to three players by the wiki's stub page. The ten minutes on the spot are an estimate for entering on the lowest tier and walking to the chest.

Not established:

• whether anything beyond reaching the isle has to be done before a character may enter
• whether the chest can be opened once per character or once per account (the mount binds to the Warband, so once is enough)
• whether the delve has to be finished: one commenter took it from the first chest he reached, which suggests not

Opening the isle: the Apophic Soul Crusher's notes cite Method (2026) for the island being reachable without the campaign; Wowhead's zone guide has it unlocked by chapter 2, and that is followed here. Ways there once it is open (Wowhead's zone guide):

• flying from Zul'Aman
• the flight point at Tokka's Landing
• the portal in Astalor's Sanctum in Silvermoon City, after the Prey introduction of Season 2

The item was in the game's data from patch 12.0.1 and made obtainable in 12.1.0 on 11 August 2026 (wiki, whose page still carries the category of unavailable mounts). The journal's 'Treasure: Sturdy Chest, Zone: Gnarldor Isle' is right. Icy Veins has a news piece on it that was not read.
