How to get it

Sold by Construct V'anore in Astalor's Sanctum, Silvermoon City, for 2,250 Remnants of Anguish, once the account has rank 10 of the Preyhunter's Journey, the Prey track of Midnight Season 2. Both the rank and the Remnants come from Prey hunts taken at the Hunt Table beside the vendor.

Guide Method: Preyhunter's Fury Mount Guide

Before you go

  • Prey opened, once for the account: Astalor Bloodsworn's four quests starting in Silvermoon City (56.6, 65.6) with Prey: Astalor's Initiative, then The Power of Anguish, When Predator Becomes Prey and To the Sanctum! · about 0.5 h
  • Rank 10 of the Preyhunter's Journey, the Season 2 Prey track on the Journeys tab: 4,000 progress a rank, 40,000 in all, earned by finishing Prey hunts on any difficulty. From patch 12.1.5 (13 October 2026) a hunt below rank 4 gives a whole rank, and from rank 4 to 9 each of a week's first four hunts gives 2,000: four hunts, then twelve more over three weeks · about 5.5 h over 2 weeks
  • 2,250 Remnants of Anguish: about 250 from the target of a Hard or Nightmare hunt, more from ambushes survived, traps disarmed and the quest A Nightmarish Task

In all: about 6 h of play, spread over 2 weeks, starting from nothing.

Notes and sources

Added with patch 12.1.0 (11 August 2026); Prey Season 2 opened that week and Midnight Season 2 on 18 August, and it is the current season at the time of writing (2026).

The price: the journal, Wowhead's tooltip, the wiki's vendor table and Method all say 2,250; the wiki's own page for the mount says 2,550, taken here as a slip. The coordinates are the wiki's; Method gives 55.7, 65.8.

How fast the journey goes is the unsettled part, and it changes on 13 October 2026 with patch 12.1.5, whose notes add the catch-up counted in the requirements. Before that the sources disagree (the wiki's 4 x 1,000 a week against Method's 5,000 + 3 x 1,000), and a Season 1 hotfix of 21 March 2026 gave 1,000 for every hunt until rank 4; whether that still held in Season 2 was not found.

The journey is tracked for the whole account and is a hidden faction shown on the Journeys tab of the Adventure Guide, not in the reputation pane, so the requirement is not shown as a reputation. Rank 7 adds 20% to all Remnants found.

Characters of level 78 to 89 can only hunt on Normal; on Hard and Nightmare the last fight is fought by one player alone (wiki), which is the game's rule and not a judgement.

What happens when Season 2 ends: the wiki says Construct E'nui, in the side room of the same sanctum, sells past seasons' rewards for Remnants with no rank asked, so the mount should move there. That is the Season 1 precedent, not something announced for this mount.

Confidence in this entry: medium. Looked up in 2026.
