Notes and sources
Sold by Astrandis for 10 of currency 3316 once the Season 2 Delve tracker, the Journey, is at rank 5. Added in patch 12.1.0, 'Curse of Ula'tek' (11 August 2026 by the wiki); the guide's notes for Silvermoon's Arcane Defender put the start of Season 2 at 18 August 2026.
That it is on sale now rests on Wowhead's vendor data and two 2026 comments on the item, the second saying 'You have to get your Season 2 Delve tracker to rank 5'. Wowhead's general Midnight delve guide (2026) names the achievement Glory of the Midnight Delver as this mount's source in its list of mounts; its Season 2 guide, the journal, the vendor data and the players' comments all say rank 5 and Astrandis, which is what the guide follows.
The Journey is Warband-bound, so several characters can feed it. It is not tagged as a reputation: the guides place it in the Journeys tab of the Adventure Guide, and whether it also shows in the reputation pane was not established. Comments on the Season 1 Journey report a cap on ranks in the first weeks of a season (rank 4 and a half reachable on 27 March 2026); by October the Season 2 cap should be long gone, but that is not confirmed.
What happens when Season 2 ends is not known: the Season 2 guide says many seasonal rewards stay with the vendors afterwards, and the Season 1 mount, Silvermoon's Arcane Defender, moved to the neighbouring vendor at 10,000 Undercoins, so the price here holds for the current season only. The date Season 2 ends was not found.
Coordinates are Wowhead's tooltip for Astrandis (52.4-52.6, 78.6); the wiki has 52.53, 78.85, and Wowhead's guide puts the headquarters at 52.4, 78.2. The guide files Silvermoon City under continent 0, as for Silvermoon's Arcane Defender.
The other guide's estimate is conquestcapped.com's (2026), which also gives 21,000 for rank 5.
Confidence in this entry: medium. Looked up in 2026.
