Reward of the achievement Pro Poison Patroller: complete 250 Temple Patrols in the Vaults of Atal'Utek, the underground temple inside the mountain of The Coiled Isle. A patrol is a small task of a minute or two (burn six slain warriors, free six soldiers, gather eight weapons from the ground); a few are up at any time, a new set comes every 10 minutes, and any kind counts. Progress is counted for the whole account.

Notes and sources
Achievement 63653, added in patch 12.1.0: a single hidden counter to 250 patrols, with account-wide progress (Wowhead). It is a long count rather than a trip, so the time is in the requirement and not in the time on the spot.
It can be spread out: patrols also count for the Vaults' daily quest Patrolling the Temple and the weekly Purging the Vaults. One commenter was at 164 by early September 2026 from daily play alone; others finished within six days of the patch, or 'after several days of doing nothing but these patrols' (2026). One finished the meta-achievement Assault the Vault with only 93 done (2026), so that achievement does not bring this one along: Pro Poison Patroller is not one of its ten achievements (the list in the Venomous Coiler's notes; Wowhead's guide gives it a tab of its own).
Of the twelve kinds, five are in rotation at a time, changing twice a week (Wowhead's guide, wiki):
- Ash to Ash
- Breath and Bile
- Broken Bonds
- Scavenged Weapons
- Slay the Restless
- Slay Children of Ula'tek
- Laid to Rest
- Calming the Dead
- Vengeance for the Dead
- Congealed Venom
- Dragged Below
- Siphon Venom
How many are up at once is where the sources differ:
- Wowhead's guide (2026): three every 10 minutes in one place, 'at least three' in another
- the commenter: five
- Method (2026): only that they move every 10 minutes
A patrol shows on the map only when the character is near it (2026 comments), and some start just by walking close; Warleader Abdumati cancels one that is not wanted (Wowhead's guide). Each patrol also pays 20 Corrosive Coins (guide). Flying is off inside the Vaults.
Advice from the comments:
- walk the high paths in a circle, take the set, wait at the camp for the next one
- a tank specialization lets the enemies on the way be ignored
- the top-rated comment (2026) recommends the Sulfurous Sludgefish, a fish from The Coiled Isle that lowers the chance of being noticed by enemies there for 5 minutes (Wowhead tooltip), so that only what a patrol asks for has to be fought
The gates on The Coiled Isle's map (Wowhead's guide, wiki):
- Gate of the Western Fang 31.8, 64.9
- Gate of the Serpent's Eye 43.4, 44.2
- Gate of the Eastern Fang 45.4, 64.9
The place given above is Warleader Abdumati's pin on the Vaults' own map in Wowhead's guide (47.2, 60.8; Mok'sa the Stone is at 54.0, 39.6). The Venomous Coiler is placed at the Altar of Corrosion a few steps away (51.2, 62.6).
Confidence in this entry: medium. Looked up in 2026.
