Notes and sources
About 69 kills expected at 1.45%, one a week for each character. A wow.gg guide (updated 2026) and a 2017 Wowhead comment both say the 10-player and 25-player modes share one lockout, so choosing a size uses up the week; this was not checked in the game. Wowhead comments of 2026 confirm it still drops, on 10-player and on 25-player.
The lair is in the Wyrmbog, Dustwallow Marsh (wiki, wow.gg). The coordinates are the game's own entrance position for the raid, placed on the Dustwallow Marsh map; the same spot can also come out as Thousand Needles 75.4, 27.3, because the two zone maps overlap there. wow.gg's waypoint is 52.4, 76.6.
The raid has no attunement (removed in patch 3.0.2, wow.gg). The mount asks for level 27 on the wiki, level 10 on wow.gg. The five minutes on the spot follow wow.gg's 2-5 minutes a run. The wiki notes the reins also turn up on the Black Market.
Confidence in this entry: high. Looked up in 2026.
