Notes and sources
There is nowhere to travel for this mount, so no place is given: a tauren paladin of level 10 already has it. The second kodo, the Great Sunwalker Kodo, comes at level 17 (warcraftmounts.com).
The journal files it under quests and says only "Paladin"; there is no item and no quest was found. Who may have it: Wowhead's tooltip for the spell (69820) says Requires Paladin, Faction: Horde, and its spell page lists the race as Tauren; the wiki says it can only be learned by tauren.
How it is handed over is not settled. The wiki's page for this mount still carries the old text, trained at a paladin trainer for 40 silver, next to a patch 9.0.1 entry that says only "Now learned at level 10". Its page for the blood elf paladin's Thalassian Warhorse, changed in the same patch, says that one is learned automatically at level 10, and this guide's other paladin mounts (the Crusader's Direhorn, the Great Exarch's Elekk) were found to be given automatically. So it is taken to be automatic here too, but a visit to a paladin trainer in Thunder Bluff or Orgrimmar cannot be ruled out; if one is needed, the price found is 40 silver.
A 2024 Wowhead comment says that logging in on a Class Trial tauren paladin puts both Sunwalker kodos in the mount journal straight away; that was not tried, and whether they stay once the trial ends was not established. A 2018 comment found the mount shown as not collected on a blood elf paladin of the same account and not counted in the mount total; whether that still holds was not established.
