Guide Wowhead: Cataclysm Reputations Guide - Vendors, Rewards and More!

Before you go

  • Exalted with Ramkahen: the quests of Uldum (the Cataclysm version of the zone) bring it part of the way, into Honored by most accounts. From Friendly, Abasi sells the Tabard of Ramkahen, which turns the reputation from Cataclysm dungeons into Ramkahen's; two daily quests in Uldum, Thieving Little Pluckers and Fire From the Sky, add a little each day · about 7 h
  • 100 gold

In all: about 7 h of play, 100 gold, starting from nothing.

Getting there

Blacksmith Abasi, Ramkahen
Uldum · 54, 33.2
/way Uldum 54 33.2
From Stormwind (Alliance) about 2.2 min of travel
  1. Take the portal from Wizard's Sanctum to Caverns of Time*
  2. Fly the rest of the way
From Orgrimmar (Horde) about 2.1 min of travel
  1. Take the portal from Pathfinder's Den to Caverns of Time*
  2. Fly the rest of the way

/way is for the TomTom addon. Travel times are estimates: flying at 55 yards a second in a straight line and 30 seconds for a portal. A star marks a portal that needs a quest or other unlock done first.

Notes and sources

Same seller, price and standing as the Brown Riding Camel, so one trip buys both. Wowhead's sold-by list for these reins (as read in 2026) names three sellers:

  • Blacksmith Abasi in Uldum (creature 48617, 54.0, 33.2), 100 gold
  • a second Blacksmith Abasi in the Uldum of patch 8.3's N'Zoth assaults (creature 164250, 54.0, 33.4), 80 gold, which looks like the same price after a reputation discount
  • Plen <Unusual and Remarkable Wares> in Dazar'alor, a Horde city, 100 gold

So either version of the zone should do; this was not confirmed in the game. A 2010 comment says the camel does not show in Abasi's list at all, not even in red, until the character is Exalted. A 2018 comment says Plen (47.8, 91.6 in the Port of Zandalar) also asks for Exalted with Ramkahen.

The quests and dailies that give the reputation belong to the old zone, which Zidormi in Ramkahen switches to (56.0, 35.2, as in this guide's other Uldum notes). How far the zone's quests carry is told differently: comments of 2010 and 2011 on these reins say all of Uldum's quests left them about half way through Honored, two others say nearly Revered, and the figures for the Brown Riding Camel reckon about a third of the way through Honored.

The hours given are the weak part: the guide marks the tabard '@ lvl 85', and how Cataclysm tabards count for a level 90 character after the level squishes was not established.

The item binds when picked up and has asked for level 17 and Apprentice Riding since patch 9.0.1 (wiki). Buying a camel gives the achievement One Hump or Two? (a Wowhead comment).

Confidence in this entry: medium. Looked up in 2026.
