How to get it

Sold for 500 Noblegarden Chocolates while Noblegarden is on, by the Noblegarden Vendor in each Alliance starting town (Goldshire, Kharanos, Dolanaar, Azure Watch) and the Noblegarden Merchant in each Horde one (Razor Hill, Bloodhoof Village, Brill, Falconwing Square). The chocolates come out of the Brightly Colored Eggs hidden around those towns, one in almost every egg; rarely an egg holds the mount itself.

Time there about 2 min a visit

Notes and sources

Next holiday: 29 March to 5 April 2027 (Wowhead's guide, updated 2026). The 2026 one ran 6 to 13 April (wiki), so when this was checked it was half a year away. The wiki adds that a holiday reward's return the next year is never promised.

The places given are Goldshire and Razor Hill, where the holiday's quest givers also stand:

  • Goldshire: the Noblegarden Vendor, at points from 42.4, 65.8 to 43.0, 65.2 (Wowhead's tooltip)
  • Razor Hill: the Noblegarden Merchant outside the inn, 52.2, 41.4 (the map data on Wowhead's page for the Merchant)

The same map data also has the Merchant at:

  • Bloodhoof Village 47.0, 59.8
  • Brill 61.4, 53.0
  • Falconwing Square 47.6, 45.4 to 47.2

The journal's list of zones is the eight starting towns. To see the eggs in Tirisfal Glades and Teldrassil a character may have to speak to Zidormi first (Wowhead's guide), and the journal's Falconwing Square is in the old Eversong Woods; Goldshire and Razor Hill need neither.

Eggs are also hidden in Valdrakken, Dornogal and, new in 2026, Silvermoon City (wiki, Wowhead's guide). The wiki says vendors stand at every event site; Wowhead's guide lists them only in the eight starting towns.

The eggs can hold the mount too: Wowhead's guide says 'even the mount if you are super-lucky', and a 2019 commenter found one among 553 eggs. No chance was ever recorded, and the route counted here is the purchase.

The item asks for level 10 (wiki). It does not seem to bind: Wowhead's tooltip for it shows no binding line and Wowhead's item data carries an average buyout price, so it can probably be sold on; that is a mention, not the route.

Wowhead's list of the Merchant's wares shows a second line, priced in gold, for many of them (10 gold for the mount). The amounts repeat the prices of the three painted eggs on the same list and no other source has a gold price, so it is taken for a fault in the data. Added in patch 4.3 (wiki).

Confidence in this entry: high. Looked up in 2026.
