How to get it

Reward of the Horde achievement Pandaren Ambassador: Exalted with nine Pandaria reputations, namely Golden Lotus, Shado-Pan, The August Celestials, The Klaxxi, The Anglers, The Tillers, Order of the Cloud Serpent, The Lorewalkers and the Huojin Pandaren. The Pandaren Kite String then comes by mail from Lorewalker Cho.

/way is for the TomTom addon. Travel times are estimates: flying at 55 yards a second in a straight line and 30 seconds for a portal. A star marks a portal that needs a quest or other unlock done first.

Notes and sources

The place given is a hub chosen for the route, not where the mount is handed over: the string arrives at any mailbox. Its coordinates are the Shrine's flight point from the game's taxi table. The 90 minutes there are one day's round of dailies, an estimate.

The journal names only the achievement. What it asks is in the wiki and on Wowhead's page for the Horde version (6827), which lists all nine factions at Exalted and shows it with account-wide progress. The wiki says it has been account-wide since patch 11.0; a 2014 Wowhead comment quotes a GM that all nine had to be on one character, and whether Exalted standings on different characters now add up was not confirmed.

The Alliance's achievement of the same name asks for the Tushui Pandaren instead and gives a kite of its own, a different mount; its notes fold the seven daily-quest factions into one requirement where this one gives each its own.

The time is the soft part: no source measured these reputations in the current game, so the seven daily-quest factions each carry an even share of wow.gg's 3-6 weeks, worked side by side over the same four weeks. The Golden Lotus lost most of its dailies in patch 5.4 (wiki) and its present-day route was not established. The wiki's Shado-Pan page still says those dailies wait on Revered with the Golden Lotus, a condition its Golden Lotus page says patch 5.3 removed.

Two things shorten it and are not counted. A Grand Commendation, sold by a faction's quartermaster at Revered, doubles that faction's gains on the whole account (wiki; the Huojin have none). And during Mists of Pandaria Timewalking, Mistweaver Xia on the Timeless Isle sells commendations worth 300 reputation for 50 Timewarped Badges each for seven of the nine, all but the Lorewalkers and the Huojin (wiki). A 2023 Wowhead comment describes going from Neutral to Exalted during a Timewalking week with a reputation buff running.

The wiki's page for the tabard names Turtlemaster Odai as its seller, and its page for Disciple Jusi, the Huojin quartermaster (68, 40 in Orgrimmar), names him; both stand at the same camp.

Guide: wow.gg's page (updated 2026) is the only one found for the Horde kite; it says Revered where the game asks Exalted, and its advice for the Huojin does not mention the tabard. Wowhead's page links only a general reputation-achievements guide of 2019, which was not opened.
