Notes and sources
Turtlemaster Odai in Orgrimmar and Old Whitenose in Stormwind City sell it for 1 gold each (the journal and Wowhead's tooltip). The reputation takes no time on a pandaren or on a character that is already Exalted; on an account without a pandaren, a new one (about an hour to reach its capital, the Brown Dragon Turtle's estimate) is the shorter way.
The wiki's page for the reins (edited 2025) has 1 gold from those two vendors, level 10 since patch 9.0.1, binds when picked up, added in patch 5.0.4. That page, like the journal, lists no reputation; the rule comes from the wiki's pages for the vendors as read for the other dragon turtles, and was not confirmed in the game.
The rest follows the other dragon turtles, which the same two vendors sell on the same terms; Wowhead was asked nothing for this mount. They are:
- Green Dragon Turtle
- Black Dragon Turtle
- Blue Dragon Turtle
- Brown Dragon Turtle
- Purple Dragon Turtle
- Great Green Dragon Turtle
- Great Red Dragon Turtle
- Great Black Dragon Turtle
- Great Blue Dragon Turtle
- Great Brown Dragon Turtle
- Great Purple Dragon Turtle
The coordinates are those of the other dragon turtles, so that all twelve count as one stop: Odai from Wowhead (69.4-69.8, 40.4-41.6), Old Whitenose 67.7, 18.5 on the wiki.
The mount has two items, 87800 and 91007; the wiki's page is for 91007 and Wowhead's tooltip for 87800, with the same vendors and price. No guide is linked: it is a plain vendor mount.
Confidence in this entry: medium. Looked up in 2026.
