The Zandalari drop insignias for four factions (Shado-Pan, Golden Lotus, Klaxxi, August Celestials), so only some are the right one. Insignias bind to the Warband, so any character can gather them. Spawn points (wiki):

A 2020 forum post says a Warscout drops one insignia and a Warbringer three; this was not confirmed.

The Grand Commendation of the Shado-Pan (50 gold from Rushi at Revered) doubles Shado-Pan reputation for the whole account; whether it also doubles insignias was not established.

What unlocks the dailies today is unclear: the wiki's patch notes say the Golden Lotus requirement was removed in patch 5.3, while its quest section and a 2026 wow.gg guide still list one. The Shado-Pan Assault of the Isle of Thunder is a different faction and does not count.

Wowhead's page for the item opened as the Mists of Pandaria Classic version and had nothing current.
