Notes and sources
Rushi the Fox sells this tiger for 2,500 gold at Exalted with the Shado-Pan. Vendor, price and standing agree across the journal, Wowhead's tooltip, the wiki and wow.gg, and the wiki names no quest or achievement on top of Exalted. How long the reputation takes is the weak part.
Rushi stands at 48.8, 70.4 to 70.6 in the Townlong Steppes by Wowhead's tooltip (NPC 64595); the wiki gives no coordinates and wow.gg says roughly 48, 70. He sells three tigers on the same terms: the Blue for 500 gold, the Green for 1,500 and this one for 2,500.
Stolen Shado-Pan Insignias bind to the Warband (wiki), so any character can gather them; the Zandalari drop insignias for four factions, so only some are the right one. The notes for the Blue Shado-Pan Riding Tiger list the spawn points and what could not be confirmed: how many a Warscout or Warbringer drops, and whether the commendation also doubles insignias.
Sources disagree on two points. wow.gg says the dailies open only after Honored with the Golden Lotus, the Shado-Pan Onslaught quests from Master Snowdrift and the garrison's starter quests, while the wiki's patch notes (as given for the Blue tiger) say the Golden Lotus requirement went in patch 5.3. And wow.gg sells the Grand Commendation of the Shado-Pan at Honored where the wiki's vendor table says Revered (50 gold).
The Shado-Pan Assault of the Isle of Thunder is a different faction and does not count. The wiki's item tooltip reads 'Requires Level 35' (since patch 9.0.1), and the item binds when picked up.
Confidence in this entry: medium. Looked up in 2026.
