Sold by Tan Shin Tiao, the Lorewalkers Quartermaster at the Seat of Knowledge above the entrance to Mogu'shan Palace in the Vale of Eternal Blossoms, for 600 gold at Exalted with The Lorewalkers. The reputation comes from reading the lore objects scattered over Pandaria and handing the item mailed after each finished set to Lorewalker Cho, who stands beside him.

Notes and sources
The listed price is 600 gold. Wowhead's vendor list for the live game (read 2026) shows 480 gold, which is 600 less the 20% that Exalted takes off; since Exalted is required, that is probably what is paid. A 2014 comment reports 420.

Wowhead comments add the three statues of Legend of the Brewfathers. A 2024 Wowhead comment lists every object's coordinates by map id, and a 2025 reply says many are off by about 50 yards. The hour and a half supposes a flying character and a list of the places.
A 2018 Wowhead comment says eight quests come by mail and that a hand-in gave 3,135 reputation, 6,270 with the commendation, which carried the writer well into Exalted with five hand-ins left at Revered. No source gives the amount per lore object, and whether Exalted is reached without the commendation was not established.
Also not established: whether Tan Shin Tiao and the lore objects in the Vale are the same in both versions of the zone (before and after the Visions of N'Zoth assaults, switched by Zidormi), and whether Lorewalkers reputation is shared by the warband. A 2026 comment saying the Isle of Thunder lore objects are needed as well belongs to Wowhead's Mists of Pandaria Classic page, not the live game's.
